2nd chapter of the day!!! Enjoy😜

Rubble's POV
"Here," Everest said as she handed Skye a note.

"So, let me get this straight," I began. "Marshall's cousin took the note, gave it to Chase's brother, who gave it to Skye, and passed it on to Everest?"

"That's exactly what happened," Ella confirmed.

"I'm still a little confused," Rex spoke up. "I'm a little late, so I need to catch up," he said as he closed his locker.

"Same," Tracker agreed. It feels good to know Rex and Tracker are comfortable with us and that we're comfortable with them. Yesterday Rex spent the evening and night watching Apollo the Superpup with me. I got him into it.

"Alright, what don't you guys get?" Skye asked.

"Who likes who?" Rex questioned.

"Marshall supposedly likes Everest," Skye explained.

"Okay, do you like Marshall?" He asked as he turned to Everest.

"My mind is a little confused right now, so I'm not sure," Everest admitted.

"Okay, so this is all about Everest and Marshall?" Tracker queried.

"Yes," Ella answered.

"So, not Skye and Chase?" He asked.

"No," Skye laughed nervously.

"This happened a while ago, and you didn't say anything?" I asked.

"No," Everest honestly spoke.

"Is everyone going to read the note at lunch?" Rocky asked.

"I guess," Ella shrugged. The bell rang, causing everyone to groan and complain. "Can I hide in the bathroom?"

"No," we all said at the same time.

"Here," Skye said as she handed the note back to Everest.

"See ya later then," I waved.

"Bye," everyone said in sync.

Rocky's POV
I walked into homeroom and sat at my desk. While I waited for everyone to make it to homeroom, I pulled out the book I was reading last night, This Is How I Lied. Very interesting if you ask me.

"Did you figure out what happened to your paper?" I heard Jackson ask Marshall.

"It was Mason," Marshall answered.

"Your cousin?"

"Yeah."

"But what was the paper?"

"Probably a love note," Hunter laughed. "If he was so ticked off about it, that's what it was."

"Leave me alone," Marshall begged.

"What are you going to do to him?" Jackson questioned.

"To who, Mason?" Marshall interrogated.

"Yeah."

"Nothing, I promised Chase I wouldn't say a thing to either Jace or Mason."

"Wow," Hunter said.

Third POV
"He knows?" Skye asked.

"Yeah," Rocky nodded. "I heard him talking to Jackson and Hunter about it."

"And he's not mad?" Everest questioned.

"Not mad, just embarrassed and stressed about you knowing his feelings for you," Rocky explained. "He poured his heart out...kinda."

"Pass it in," Ella said as she held her hand out. Everest nervously nodded and searched her book bag for the note. She pulled it out and handed it to Ella. Ella unfolded the note as everyone crowded around her to read it in their head. The only ones who didn't crowd were Rocky and Everest, being that they already read the note. Everyone's eyes followed different words as they all read at their own pace. When everyone finished, Ella passed it back.
