3rd chapter of the day! Enjoy😜

Third POV
The four made it inside the school building and walked up to the security desk. Skye picked up a pen and signed her name on a sheet that parents and guardians needed to sign whenever they entered the building. She placed the pen back down and looked back at the others.

"Where's Storm?" Sunshine asked.

"He should be in the office," Skye responded as she searched for the office door. Right when she was going to open the door, Jace and his mother stepped out of the office. Jace didn't have any marks or bruises, but he held an ice pack in his right hand.

"Chase? Grace?" Jace called as he paused in front of them.

"What are you two doing here?" Their mother asked as she stared at her two children.

"We came with Skye to pick up her brother," Chase explained as he turned to Jace.

"Did you come in a taxi or something?"

"We walked," Grace answered.

"Well, I could've driven you all here," she said. "And who's this cutie?" Chase's mother questioned as she bent down and stared at Sunshine. Being shy, she hid behind Skye.

"She's my sister, Sunshine," Skye responded.

"Well, hello," she greeted.

"Hi," Sunshine said, not moving from behind her sister.

"She's so cute," she beamed. "Seems to be a little shy too, no?" Skye nodded in response as she grabbed her sister's hand and moved her to stand next to her.

"Stay right here, okay?" Skye told Sunshine. "I'm going to go inside and get Storm." Sunshine nodded as she bit her nail.

"I'll drive you back home if you want," Chase's mom offered.

"Oh, no," Skye said. "I don't want to be a bother."

"Nonsense," she shook her head. "You're anything but a bother."

"Are you sure?" Skye asked. "I don't mind walking."

"There's plenty of room in the car," she insisted. "I'll just go and pick it up. It was tough finding parking, so it's a little far."

"Um, okay, thank you," Skye agreed.

"I'll take Sunshine with me too," she proposed.

"Um, I don't know about that," Skye doubted.

"I'll hold her hand," Grace spoke up.

"Will you behave?" Skye asked Sunshine as she nodded and held Grace's hand. "Okay, don't let go. And if anything, you know what to do."

"Chase, why don't you stay with Skye?" His mom suggested.

"Sure," he agreed.

Zuma's POV
We just finished practice, and we were heading into the locker room. Today's practice was so horrible. And right before Coach was talking about how great we were.

"Practice sucked," Hunter complained.

"Maybe if you tried, we would've done better," Jackson argued.

"It's not my fault Arby wouldn't quit cracking jokes," Hunter blamed.

"Don't drag me into this," Arby spoke up.

"But I wasn't focusing cuz of you," Hunter pointed.

"Oh, well," Arby shrugged.

"Could've been worst," Max said.

"I thought it was fine," Blizzard spoke up.

"It was your first day," Hunter brought up.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"We were obviously gonna go easy on you."

"Yeah, right," Blizzard laughed. "You weren't even paying attention."

"Tomorrow, you'll see," Hunter challenged. "None of us are going to go easy on you."

Third POV
"Zuma said he'll be out in a little," Ella informed Everest.

"Alright, let's wait for him outside the locker room," Everest suggested.

"Sure," Ella agreed as they made their way to the locker room. "Have you heard from Skye since she got the call?"

"Nope," Everest responded as she scrolled through her phone. "She hasn't answered my text either."

"You think she's home yet?"

"Not sure."

"Try calling her."

"Hold on, Rubble's calling me."

"Okay, answer him, and I'll call Skye," Ella decided as Everest nodded.

"Hello?" Everest said after answering her phone.

"Hey," Rubble greeted.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Well, Rex and I are at The Garage. Since you, Ella, Skye, and Zuma just got out of school, I decided to call to invite you all over. Tracker and Rocky are coming too."

"Oh, um, okay. Ella and I are waiting for Zuma outside the locker room, and Ella is calling Skye."

"Where is she?"

"She had to rush over and get her brother out of school. He got sent to the office. I'll explain later."

"Um, sure. So, you coming?"

"Yeah. Just going to wait for Zuma, and we'll let Skye know."

"Okay, see you later."

"Bye."

"Bye."

"So?" Everest asked as she turned to Ella who stood with her phone to her ear.

"No answer," Ella shrugged.

"How many times have you called her?"

"Twice."

"Try one more time."

Chase's POV
"So, what happened?" I asked Storm. We both sat in the office while Skye was inside the principal's office. Storm had an icepack like the one Jace had, and he had a red mark on his right cheek.

"I'm gonna get in trouble for getting into the fight," Storm said, facing the ground. "It was between Jace and Mason, and I just got into it."

"What happened?"

"Mason got mad at Jace for telling Marshall he took the note."

"Wait, this is about Marshall and Everest?"

"Basically."

"Oh, God. Okay, can you please explain?"

"I was sitting in the auditorium alone until the 6th grade walked in. I decided to go up to Jace, but I noticed he was mad. So I decided to wait for a little to see if he would calm down. That's when Mason walked up to Jace and started yelling at him. He threatened to stop being his best friend, so I decided to go up to him and see what was wrong. I didn't hear everything, so maybe Jace could explain better, but I heard Mason blame Jace for Marshall getting mad at him. Jace told Mason it wasn't him, but Mason didn't believe him. I went to ask what was wrong, but that got Mason madder. He said their situation was none of my business, but I told him I just wanted to help. Mason even punched me in the face," Storm said as he rubbed his right cheek.

"I saw Jace had an icepack. Did he get punched too?"

"Yeah," Storm nodded.

"What about Mason? Did you or Jace punch him back?"

"We both did. And after that, teachers separated us and took us to the office." Thinking everything through, I began to get a little upset myself. Marshall promised me he wasn't going to say anything to Mason. And because he did, this all happened. I do get Marshall's point, though. Mason had no right to sneak in and take Marshall's things. But Mason's intentions weren't what Marshall thought they were. Skye walked out of the office and looked down at Storm with a face that was hard to read. She didn't seem mad but not happy either.
