Third POV
"We're here," Stella clapped in excitement. The two buses with the football players and cheerleaders pulled into a dirt road and made their way to the campsite property."This is going to be fun," Everest dryly said.
"Cheer up, Everest," Ella smiled as she lifted her head from Zuma's shoulder. "This might actually be fun." The bus stopped to a quick halt before the driver put it in park.
"Alright, everyone," Sweetie said as she stood up and put her hands together. "Everyone in a single file line, please-"
"Let's go!" Jackson yelled. Both he and Hunter opened the emergency exit at the back of the bus before hopping out. Max and Arby took turns picking up bags and throwing them down to Jackson and Hunter before hopping off themselves.
"Well, then," Skye said as she and the rest of the bus passengers stared at the back of the bus to find the boys already off the bus.
"That's one way to get out of the bus," Ella chuckled.
"I guess we can just get off the bus," Sweetie facepalmed. The rest who remained on the bus got up with their belongings and got off one by one.
"Where are Chase, Marshall, and Zuma?" The boys heard their coach ask their other teammates. The three quickly grabbed their bags and caught up with the rest of their team.
"Skye," Sweetie called.
"Yeah?" Skye turned away from her friends to see what Sweetie wanted.
"Come help me," she ordered as she walked over to a small house. Everest and Ella turned to Skye as she shrugged. Skye placed both her bags on the ground beside her friends as she caught up with Sweetie.
"Whatchu need?"
"I want you to help me organize where everyone is sleeping."
"Why me?" Skye asked the question that bugged her. "Not trying to sound mean or anything, but wouldn't you prefer Maggie or Stella helping you?"
"Stella is too stupid for that," Sweetie quickly replied. "And Maggie would try to find a way to situate boys and girls in a cabin."
"Oh," Skye said, hiding her disgust at the thought. The two walked into the check-in building and walked up to the desk. "Hi," Sweetie kindly greeted, almost enough for Skye not to recognize her.
"Hello, what can I do for you two?" A young lady at the desk asked.
"We came to check in," Sweetie answered.
"Alright, what's your name?" The lady asked, getting ready to type in the computer.
"We're registered under Adventure Bay High School." The lady went to her computer and began typing as the girls could see the computer's reflection in her glasses.
"Ah, yes," she said with a grin. "Ten cabins, correct?"
"Um, yeah," Sweetie thought. "Are we able to rent more cabins if we need more?"
"Yes, of course," the lady said as she picked up a pile of papers and straightened them out. She placed them back on her desk and picked out a few brochures. "Whenever you need anything," she began. "Just come over and let me know. Excuse me." She got up from her seat and went to a room behind her. In a matter of seconds, she returned to her original place with keys. "Here you girls go," she said, handing Sweetie the brochures and keys. "Each key has a keychain with the cabin number on them, and the brochures have a map and all the activities we have here. "Enjoy."
"Thank you," Sweetie smiled as she walked away from the desk with Skye behind her. "Okay, so," she thought as she pulled out her phone. "There are...one, two, three, four, five..."
