Chase's POV
"Here?" I asked Max through the phone.

"Yes, he's suspicious," Max explained.

"Great," I muttered. "Where do I go?"

"Just tell him the truth."

"The truth? I told Jace I wouldn't. And do you know how mad Marshall would get? I don't know if he'll trust me again."

"But Mason had no right to look through Marshall's things."

"I mean, you do make a point...But those weren't Mason's intentions. He wanted to help his cousin."

"Tell Marshall everything you just told me," Max stated.

"What?"

"Tell Marshall everything you told me. Tell him you told Jace you wouldn't tell, Mason didn't mean to do anything wrong, everything you just said. Marshall should understand."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Fine," I said, letting out a sigh.

"Good luck," Max wished.

"Thanks, I need it."

Third POV
"Ella, can I ask you a question?" Tuck asked his sister as he sat on the stool next to her.

"You just did," she laughed.

"No, another one," Tuck shook his head.

"Yeah, sure. What's up?"

"Does Chase have a crush on Skye?"

"We don't know for sure, but I think so."

"Does Skye have a crush on Chase?"

"Why are you asking these?" Ella questioned, trying to avoid answering it.

"You know, curiosity," Tuck shrugged.

"Well, I'm not allowed to tell you that," Ella shrugged as she went back to filling out some problems for Algebra.

"So, she does?" Tuck asked with a small crack in his voice. He was hoping his twin wouldn't notice. Unfortunately for him, she did.

"Hold on a minute," Ella paused. "Why are you specifically asking for Chase and Skye? Why not, I don't know, Everest and Marshall, or Marshall and Maggie?"

"Curiosity," Tuck repeated.

"That's not what this is about," Ella said as she put her pencil down. She turned to her brother, causing him to look down. "Look at me...in the eye." Tuck slowly obeyed as his eyes made their way back to his twin.

"What?"

"You like Skye!?" Ella blurted.

"Wha- what? No, I don't!"

"Then why do you look like that?"

"Like what?"

"I don't know," Ella shrugged. "But your eyes look different."

"Different...how...?"

"I don't know. Just...different."

Everest's POV
"Blizzard, I am going to murder you!" I screamed as I burst into Blizzard's room. "Where is this guy?" I walked out of his room and scanned the entire house. He wasn't in the living room, kitchen, hallway, my room, my dad's room, his room, or any of the bathrooms. Two places left: Rocky's room and Rocky's bathroom. "Alright! Where is he!?" I asked Rocky after I walked in. He sat on his bed with his textbooks open and a sheet of paper, ready to write.

"Everest, I honestly don't know what's wrong with me," I heard Blizzard read with a mocking voice. Rocky pointed at the door that led to his bathroom. "By now, you might be asking the same thing. I don't know what it is, but there's just something about you..." I ran into the bathroom and found Blizzard sitting in the bathtub. "Aw, someone loves you."
