Sometimes the day's where the sun is shining so brightly, there's this feeling that nothing could possibly go wrong. And as optimistic as that point of view may be, I think now on this march morning, randomly swaying in a slow dance by the window with the woman I love-
it's an unmatchable feeling
The soft scent of her tuberose perfume, the scent that's hers, the bounciness of her curls that have returned (definitely to my liking, she's beautiful either way but her curls, they're valerie) and a smile to as bright as this morning sun...
She laughed and said "why stand around when we can dance, its a lovely morning..."
"It is. and i think, as peculiar as this is, it makes the morning even more lovely."
she smiled and i held her closer as she draped her arms over my shoulders, raising a little higher upon her tip toes and i kissed her lips...
"mmm. now its even lovelier, how is that possible?"
"Engagement ring and all." i smiled
she giggled and aid "engagement ring and all, it really does feel just that little more perfect on my hand."
"As it should. and the perks of having this day off, means no need to take it off at all."
"that's what's the best of all...and the getting to spend out first day alone together, no hospital....and actually engaged."
"yes, actually actually engaged."
"I do have a question. marriage related that is." i said i moved one hand from her waist as we held each others hand
"Ask away." she said as our fingers laced
"catholic wedding? or not?" i raised a brow
"E, your not catholic, so we don't have to have one you know-"
"well, is it what you would want?" i asked
"yes, but-"
i silenced her with another kiss and said "so then that's what we will have. i want this to be perfect for you, for us, and of course conventional. God, religion...controversial, but if it means something to you then it means something to me."
this time it was her lips meeting mine and she said "really?"
"mm. and i suppose the marriage institution, religion plays a part. i can see that." i smiled
