And of course it's completely understandable, Bloom is like a migraine that won't go away.
And poor doctor Ramsey...he doesn't deal with migraines well.
I knocked upon the office door and heard him say "come in."
As I went inside, he looked up from his computer, where his stoicism turned into a smile
"Valerie...hello.'
I smiled in return and said "hello doctor Ramsey. I finished up my rounds."
I perched myself on his side of the desk and he said "any problems at all?"
I shook my head and said "all good. Sometimes it's nice to have cases that aren't too out of the ordinary."
He chuckled and leaned forward as he said "yes you'd be right about that."
I looked to my side and onto the desk "would I also be right in saying you're trying to pick a new case?"
He sighed and nodded "yes... it's taking a lot longer than I would have liked. It's just I want to be extra careful now I know bloom could swoop in and interfere...we need a case that we can solve and not have bloom try and hinder Their recovery... whatever that might be."
"I see.... it's not going to be easy. The idea of having to choose on that basis..."
"I know sweetheart...and I wish bloom didn't have to interfere so much..."
I hopped down and went to his side before kissing his cheek and running my hand through his hair "whatever you think is right my love... control what we can control, remember?"
He nodded and looked to me as he said "thank you. For trusting me that is..."
"You always make the right decision. And if you didn't? You know I'd tell you. Just like you'd tell me."
We laughed and he kissed me softly "I love you..."
"I love you too. So why don't we go and talk to Suzette and get her out of this study?"
He turned off his computer and rose from his desk as he said "yes, it'll feel good to be doing some good Around here."
I took off his glasses and said "you're always doing good. But today we're doing some extra good."
