something about Boston in itself has always been exciting to me. A beautiful city, costal, has one of the most gorgeous skylines in the united states...and then of course, its beaming quality to any aspiring doctor-

One of the post progressive hospitals in the united states, renowned for its teaching capabilities and incredible facilities- but also its because that same hospital has doctor ethan ramsey.
Doctor ethan ramsey, who by the time he was 25 ,was already remarkable, had written so many medical thesises in john hopkins that his professors were impressed with, graduated top of his class (which naturally tobias hated) but he has always, always been an incredible man...
but when I met him on my first day, I was met with the grumpy, cynical old man that i'm in love with today. that never took away from his brilliance though...of course it didn't.
reluctantly, he took a scrappy 25 year old girl under his wing, had his...very harsh, teaching methods- are at least at the time i thought they were harsh...he built me up, never knocked me down- saw a potential in me i dont think anyone else has...even my resume, he saw it then....he took a chance on girl from Michigan who came from a 1st generation immigrant family...first to graduate highschool, never mind go to med-school...he saw it in me. and im so lucky that the man who has been there with my since the start of my medical journey, who has made me who i am-

Lying in bed back at the roommates apartment, i snuggled up a little to my blanket, and sighed. thinking, contemplating...more importantly, worrying...
