Ant's new son

A surprise morning

<next morning>
(Third person P. O. V)
It was a peaceful morning. Dec was in the kitchen making tea for him and the boys. Neil and Haydn were in the living room watching telly and playing on their phones. Ant was still upstairs asleep.
[In the living room]
(Third person P. O. V)
Whilst the boys were playing on their phones and giggling between themselves, Dec came in with the teas and handed the boys their teas.
"Thanks Mr Donnelly." Both Neil and Haydn thanked.
"You're welcome boys, what were you two giggling about?" Dec kindly asked whilst sitting down.
"Haydn was showing me a funny video our friend Billy sent him." Neil politely explained.
"Oh I see. Is Billy one of your other friends?" Dec kindly asked.
"Yeah he is", Haydn began saying , "He's our closest friend from our youth club. He's a fan of you and Mr McPartlin."
"But he really likes Stephan Mulhern." Neil humourlessly added.
Dec giggled when he heard Neil say that. He then asked.
"Does that annoy you pair?"
"No, we're not bothered.", said Haydn.
"We're all good friends. We even call him little Stephan Mulhern since he does kinda reminds us of him." Neil honestly said.
"How does he remind you of Stephan Mulhern? If you don't mind me asking." Dec kindly asked.
"We don't mind." Haydn honestly said.
"Billy always makes us laugh, always says 'Hi guys' to us and 'unbelievable'." Neil replied whilst starting to laugh.
Soon Haydn and Dec both started laughing themselves. After they were laughing, Dec then asked.
"Ok you two giggle heads, how do you pair fancy pancakes for breakfast?"
"Yes please." The boys eagerly replied.
"Alright then, tell you what," Dec began saying, "whilst I'll making breakfast for us. Why don't you two take the dogs, head upstairs and wake Ant up so he can join us."
The boys happily agreed and quickly but quietly head upstairs with the dogs whilst Dec headed into the kitchen to make breakfast.
<2 seconds later>
[Outside Ant's room]
(Third person P. O. V)
Once the boys were outside the room with both Rocky and Hurley. Neil turned to Haydn and quietly explained.
"Here's the plan: once we're inside the room, we'll quietly creep up to the bed, let the dogs jump onto the bed and start licking Mr McPartlin, then we'll jump on and shout 'Morning' to him. Sound like a plan?"
"Yeah definitely." Haydn agreed.
The boys then quietly opened the door and silently went in the room.
[Inside the room]
(Third person P. O. V)
When they were in the room, the both of them quietly went over to the bed. Once they were by the bed, the dogs immediately jumped on the bed and started to lick Ant.
"Hurley, Rocky." Ant sleepily said whilst waking up.
"MORNING MR MCPARTLIN!!" Neil and Haydn shouted whilst jumping on the bed.
Ant immediately jumped awake when he heard the boys shouting at him. Meanwhile, the boys were laughing their heads off.
"You little rascals." Ant laughed.
"Got you Mr McPartlin." The boys cheekily said whilst still laughing their heads off.
Just then Dec came in and started himself when he saw Ant's annoyed face.
"I take it, this was your idea. Wasn't it?" Ant asked in a annoyed way.
Dec nodded in response since he couldn't stop laughing. Once he and the boys all calmed down, Dec then said.
"Alright you two, come downstairs with me so we can let Ant properly get up and join us for breakfast."
The boys listened and both got up from the bed along with both Rocky and Hurley. Once they were next to Dec, he put both his hands on their shoulders and the three of them headed downstairs.
<few minutes later>
[In the kitchen]
(Third person P. O. V)
After making the pancakes for the boys, Dec topped them off with whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate sauce. He then picked up both of plates and gave them to boys who were looking forward to trying them.
"Enjoy boys." Dec happily said.
After taking their first bite, Neil and Haydn both had smile on theirs faces.
"These are really delicious Mr Donnelly." Haydn kindly complimented.
"Yeah, really nice." Neil also complimented.
"I'm just glad you like them. Now would you two like fresh cup of juice each?" Dec kindly offered.
"Yes please." The boys kindly replied.
After the boys said that, Dec then put the kettle on. Just then Ant came in and heard Dec cheekily saying.
"It's about time you joined us sleepyhead."
Ant just frowned at Dec which made him and the boys giggle. Dec then asked.
"Alright boys, I think we teased Ant enough now. What can I do to make it up to you mate?"
"For starters, you can make me a cup of tea seeing as I was surprisingly woken up by the boys and the dogs." Ant grumpily said.
"Ok then. One cup of tea coming right up." Dec then said.
So after making the teas, Dec gave three teas to both the boys and Ant. After Ant took a sip from his tea, he gratefully said.
"Thanks Dec. I'm feeling much better now I've had that tea."
"You're welcome Ant, now how about if I make you some pancakes since I've already had great compliments about them from the boys." Dec kindly offered.
Ant looked over Neil and Haydn who both had empty plates and happy smiles on their faces. Seen happy they were, Ant agreed to having some pancakes.
"Alright then," Dec happily began saying, "I'll make some pancakes for you and me since I haven't had any yet. Boys, why don't you two go and get dressed and brush your teeth?"
"Ok." The boys replied.
Both Neil and Haydn got onto their feet and headed upstairs to get ready. Once they were gone, Ant then asked.
"Bit of a surprise, seen you making pancakes. Isn't it Dec."
"Thought it would be nice surprise for you seen me make breakfast for a change." Dec happily explained as he was cooking.
Ant just chuckled and smiled at his mate as he sat down at the table. After Dec was done making pancakes for him and Ant, he then picked up both plates and went to join Ant at the table. Once Ant took his first bite of his pancakes, his eyes lit up and proudly said.
"Dec, these are really good. You've out done yourself kidda."
"Thanks," Dec gratefully said, "Ali taught me how make them and I've been meaning for you to try them. So I thought I'd make them today as treat for us and the boys especially Neil."
Ant smiled after Dec was finished talking. He reached over, gave Dec's hand a gentle squeeze and happily but worriedly said.
"Thanks mate, it was really kind of you to treat us and the boys. I just hope today goes well with the surprise for him."
"Awww Ant, don't be worried. Neil is going to love the surprise. I just hope the stuff Ali and I got are the right sizes." Dec supportively but jokingly said.
Ant smiled at Dec and for what he said. It was in that moment, he started to have tears forming in his eyes and Dec noticed. He then got up, went over Ant and pulled him for a hug.
"I'm so proud of you Ant for what you've done for Neil. That young boy couldn't have asked for a better father figure other than you." Dec proudly said whilst rubbing Ant's arm back.
"Thanks Decky." Ant whispered.
"Anytime mate, now I think we both should finish our breakfast and teas then get ready. Those two will be wanting to take the dogs out for a walk before we head to yours for the surprise." Dec then said.
Ant chuckled at that. So the two of them then carried on eating their breakfast. After they were done with their breakfast, they then headed upstairs to get ready themselves.
<few minutes later>
[In the living room]
Neil and Haydn were waiting patiently for the boys to come down. Neil was wearing a white and black long sleeve shirt with black jeans whilst Haydn was wearing a black T-shirt with a blue jacket and dark blue jeans.
"You're looking good in those new clothes Neil." Haydn kindly complimented.
"Thanks." Neil happily replied.
Just then Ant came in, wearing black button shirt with a white T-shirt underneath and brown jeans. Both Neil and Haydn noticed Ant looking slightly annoyed, so Haydn asked.
"You alright Mr McPartlin?"
"I'm fine Haydn, just annoyed with Dec whose taking too long to get ready." Ant replied.
The boys began giggling when Ant was finished. By the time Dec finally came, Ant already had one of his famous frowns on his face and the boys were still laughing.
"Don't blame me, I had trouble looking for my shoes since Isla had decided to muddle them up." Dec honestly said.
"Alright, I forgive you this time." Ant grumbled.
Dec just pulled a face at Ant which made Neil and Haydn laugh even more. After waiting for the boys to calm down and Ant to stop frowning, Dec then said.
"Alright you two giggle heads, why don't you go and put both your shoes on so we can take the dogs for a walk before going over to Ant's house for the surprise."
"Ok." They boys replied.
So once the boys got their shoes and coats on, Ant and Dec got their shoes and coats on as well. After putting the dogs leads on them, the four of them then left to take both Rocky and Hurley out for a walk.
