Ant's new son

The surprise

<1 hour later>
(Third person P. O. V)
After walking the dogs, Dec was packing an overnight bag with some of his clothes some of his things, Ant was on the phone to Haydn's parents seeing if it was alright to have Haydn for another night and both the boys were sat in Ant's car along with Hurley and Rocky. Once everything was sorted, the boys left Dec's house, got into Ant's car and headed to his house.
<current time>
[In Ant's car]
(Ant's P. O. V)
Whilst I was driving us to my house, the boys were in the back talking and giggling amongst themselves.
"What are you two doing back there?" Dec suspiciously asked them.
"Neil trying to get me to tell about the surprise." Haydn began saying.
"But Haydn keeps saying he's not going to tell me." Neil finished saying.
Dec and I began laughing at the boys. Dec then said.
"Neil, you just need to be patient. I know you're really looking forward to this surprise but you just need to be patient. Ok?"
"Ok." Neil agreed.
"Thanks mate." I gratefully whispered.
"No problem." Dec whispered back.
For the remainder of the journey, the 4 of us all played games to past the time.
<few minutes later>
[Outside Ant's house]
(Third person P. O. V)
Once they've arrived at Ant's house, the four of them all got out of the car along with both Rocky and Hurley. After they were all out of the car, Dec and Haydn went in the house first with the dogs whilst Ant remained outside with Neil.
"Right Neil, I'm going to cover your eyes and help guide you to the house but I do need you to close your eyes for me. Ok" Ant kindly instructed.
"Ok." Neil replied.
After Neil said that, he closed his eyes and Ant covered them with his hands. Ant then slowly and gently helped guide Neil to the house.
[In the house]
(Third person P. O. V)
Once they were in the hallway, Ant removed his hands from Neil's eyes and placed then on Neil's shoulders. He then said.
"Ok kidda, you can open your eyes now."
Once Neil opened his eyes, he immediately heard.
"SURPRISE!!"
There Neil saw Haydn, Dec, Ali, Isla, Anne Marie and the girls all smiling at him and a banner saying.

"What do you think son?" Ant gently asked.
Neil turned around and threw his arms around Ant, giving him a tight hug and gratefully saying.
"Thank you."
Ant happily returned the hug and was joined by Anne Marie and the girls. After being hugged by them, Neil was hugged by Dec and Ali.
"Come on Neil, we've got some presents for you in the living room." Anne Marie happily said.
"I'll be in a minute." Neil replied.
Ant, Dec, Anne Marie, Ali, Isla and the girls all went into the living room whilst Haydn stayed where he was.
"You ok Neil?" Haydn concernedly asked as he approached Neil.
"Yeah I'm fine just surprised. You knew about this, didn't you?" Neil suspiciously but happily asked.
"I'm not going to lie you, I did.", Haydn honestly replied, "I was supposed to come over today to join in with the surprise but since I came to stay with you, Mr McPartlin and Mr Donnelly yesterday. We had to change plans."
Neil smiled and began to have tears forming in his eyes. Haydn then hugged him and supportively said.
"Don't cry Neil, you've got a new family now and you've still got me, your best friend."
"I know Haydn, I know. It's just ever since my mum's death and what my Dad did to me, I never thought I'd be this happy again. But now I am, I'm just lost for words." Neil honestly but tearfully admitted whilst still hugging Haydn.
Haydn supportively rubbed Neil's back and carried on hugging him. After they were done hugging, Haydn put his arm around Neil and supportively said.
"Come on, let's go and see what presents you've got from your new family."
"Ok." Neil whispered.
The two boys then headed into the living room together.
<few seconds later>
[In the living room]
(Third person P. O. V)
After Neil and Haydn came into the living room and sat down on the sofa. Neil started opening his presents from Ant, Anne Marie and the girls first. The presents were few more new clothes which some were tidy and some were plain, bedding, books and pyjamas.
"Thank you so much. I love them." Neil gratefully said.
"You're welcome kidda." Ant replied whilst ruffling Neil's hair.
"You've still got Dec's and Ali's ones to open next." Anne Marie kindly reminded.
Neil giggled and began to open those presents. Dec's and Ali's presents were more clothes and shoes but one of them really did surprise him when he opened it. It was a Xbox x with a few games with it.
"Do you like it Neil?," Ali kindly asked, "Dec was the one who got it for you."
"Oh he did, did he?" Ant surprisingly asked whilst looking at Dec.
"I thought it would be nice thing for Neil to have in his room and to play with the girls and Haydn." Dec honestly replied.
"I love it. Thanks Mr Donnelly." Neil gratefully thanked.
Neil then got up, went over to Dec and gave him a hug which Dec happily returned. After Neil was finished hugging Dec, he then gave Ali a hug which she happily returned.
"Neil, we've also got one more surprise for you." Anne Marie then said.
"What is it?" Neil excitedly asked.
"Go and have a look in your bedroom kidda." Ant kindly hinted.
Neil then headed upstairs to his room with Haydn joining him.
[In Neil's room]
(Third person P. O. V)
When Neil and Haydn entered the room, Neil was speechless on what he saw. The bed had a blue and white stripe duvet set on it with matching pillow covers, light shade and curtains. A blue rug by the side of bed, white bedside tables each side of the bed, a desk and chair with a blue lamp, wardrobe and a telly in front of the window.
But the one thing that really did surprise Neil was the some pictures of him and his mum that were on the desk and the bedside table that he hasn't seen in a long time.
"Where did those come from?" Neil asked as he looked at the photos.
"My parents," Haydn replied, "After you disappeared, my parents managed to get into the house and took them so that they could give them to you when you were found. The telly also from us since I got a new one."
Neil looked at Haydn and gratefully gave him a hug.
"Thanks Haydn, you're the greatest friend ever." Neil happily whispered.
"I know and you're the same with me. We're inseparable me and you just like big Ant and Dec." Haydn supportively whispered back.
It was then Neil began crying again but Haydn kindly began to rub his back and supportively said.
"It's alright Neil, you can let it out."
"Thanks Haydn." Neil whispered.
Once Neil calmed down, Haydn pulled away began using his hand to wipe away Neil's tears. He then cheerfully said.
"Come on mate, let's rejoin your new family."
"Ok." Neil chuckled.
The two boys then headed back downstairs to join the others.
<few seconds later>
[In the living room]
(Third person P. O. V)
Once the boys came into the living room, they immediately heard Anne Marie asking.
"So Neil, did you like what we did to your room?"
"We know the walls needs redecorating to match the colours but how do you like the theme so far kidda?" Ant worriedly asked.
Neil smiled at both Ant and Anne Marie. He then went up to the both of them and gave them both a hug individually.
"I love it," Neil delightedly replied, "I absolutely love it and everything else I've been given. Thank you all for everything."
"You're welcome Neil." Both Ant and Anne Marie replied.
Ant patted Neil on shoulder and gave him a kiss on the head and so did the girls. The rest of them then carried on celebrating the party.
<late evening>
(Third person P. O. V)
It was late in the evening, all five kids were in bed asleep. Ali, Dec and Anne Marie were cleaning up the kitchen and putting dishes away whilst Ant was outside taking a call from the police.
[In the kitchen]
(Third person P. O. V)
After putting the last dish away, both Ali and Anne Marie started yawning.
"I think it's time for you two ladies to head up to bed yourselves." Dec kindly pointed out.
"No arguments there love." Ali tiredly agreed.
Just then Ant came in, it was then Anne Marie said.
"Ali and I are off to bed Ant. We're both tired and I think you two want to have time to yourselves, don't you?"
"Aye alright darling, good night." Ant replied whilst giving Anne Marie a kiss and hug.
Once Dec did the same with Ali, the two ladies then headed up to bed. After they left, Dec heard Ant asking.
"Wanna cup of tea?"
"Oh yes please." Dec insisted.
Ant then put the kettle on to make two cups of teas for him and Dec. After making the teas, the boys then went into the living room.
[In living room]
After the pair of them sat down on the sofa, Ant gratefully said.
"Thanks for those presents you got for Neil mate."
"It's alright Ant, I'm glad he like them including the Xbox." Dec happily replied whilst sipping his tea.
After sipping his tea, Dec noticed that Ant had slight frown on his face. So he worriedly asked.
"You ok Ant? You seemed to be a bit worried."
Ant sighed deeply but honestly said.
"No I'm not actually Dec. Just had some bad news from the police regarding Neil's father."
"Oh no, what's happened now?" Dec then asked.
"He's escaped police custody." Ant slowly answered.
"Oh no.", Dec groaned, "What happens now then?"
"I don't know Dec, I really don't know." Ant sadly replied.
Dec then placed his and Ant's mugs on the table. He then pulled Ant into a hug and supportively said.
"We'll discuss this morning with Anne Marie and Ali. Don't worry, we'll sort something out. Ok?"
"Ok." Ant whispered.
The two of them carried on hugging each but couldn't stop worrying about what to do about Neil's father.
