*Alice's POV*

The paramedics face is full of worry, as she looks at Matt. She makes eye contact with another parametric and she shakes her head. "I don't think he's going to make it." She says, and the other lady nods.

I feel like I can't even stand on my feet, everything is spinning and I feel dizzy.

"We need to get him to the hospital now!" A male voice screams. I don't remember who, I was too distracted by my head spinning out of control as the words of the parametric replayed in my head. "I don't think he's going to make it,"

"Who's with him?" The lady, with green eyes ask, and I raise my hand in the air not able to get any words out.

"C'mon, lets go!" She says as she pulls me away from Jack's grip.

"Can he come too?" I ask referring to Jack.

"I'm afraid their is not enough room," she frowns, tightening her ponytail. "Only one of you can come." She tells us.

I give Jack a worried look, debating on what to do.

"I'll meet you at the hospital," he tells me encouraging me to go. "He needs you," he says and I nod before running back to the parametric lady who's name tag said Mara.

She leads me to the back of the ambulance car, and I jump up rapidly. I gasp when I see Matt tied up to all sorts of things. There's cords through his veins and his nose, they're the only thing keeping him alive.

Before I know it the car begins to drive rapidly, and the paramedics begin to do all sorts of things to Matt. My heart is beating out of my chest, and I'm more then terrified to lose him. He doesn't deserve to go like this. The tears rolling down my face are uncontrollable, and I cover my face with my hands.

I feel someone's hand run up and down my back. The parametric lady. "Is he going to make it?" I ask Mara, who's now looking at me with sadness in her eyes.

"I hope so sweetly," she attempts to smile.

"Me too," I say returning the small gesture.

"There's not much we can do, he needs to fight for his life." She informs me, And on cue I hear a beep, a beep I didn't want to hear, a beep I've been afraid to hear all my life.

"Mara! We're losing him!" The male says, and Mara jumps up and she begins to prepare the machine to bring Matt's heart back to life.

"No, Matt!" I yell trying to get closer to him, but another lady won't allow me. "He can die like this!" I cry, loudly.

I cry, as Mara shakes the Automatic Electric Defibrillator, before pressing them against the two plastic things in his chest. "One!" She says, and Matt's body jumps up slightly.

She shakes her head and she goes for the next one. "Two!" She says, and Matt's chest rises up again. The beep continues, and a lady whispers to Mara, "I think he's gone." I feel like my world is collapsing little by little and I can't help but feel as if this is my fault.

"Damn it, He can't die!" She hisses and she shakes the AED together once again. The beeping keeps getting stronger, and I cover my mouth to keep myself from screaming.

"Three!" Mara yells as he presses the metal to Matt's bare chest.

I push away the lady holding me back, and scoot over closet to Matt.

I grab a hold of his hand, which is tied up to tubes tuning up his arm. "Please Matt, fight for your life!" I yell sobbing into his hand. "Four!" Mara yells louder, trying to bring Matt back to life, and then I feel everything turn completely back. . .
