My head was soaring with confusion and panic as three large men barged into our hotel room, guns pointing at every direction. Flashlight lights pointed over at my eyes and I went blind momentarily. I couldn't see much in the darkness of the room, and that made me all the more anxious. A tall dark skin male cop, firmly pointed a gun at my direction.
My heart sank.
"Hands in the air!" He screamed in rage. I lifted my hands into the air, the sheets now falling from my grip, leaving me in my undergarment. But I was too confused to try and cover up.
What the hell was going on?
Everything from there is all a blur. I can remember the officers pinning Cameron down to the floor as if he were an animal. They yelled loudly at him to keep still, and Cameron didn't fight back. Almost as if he had been expecting this...?
My eyes could make up a dead river from all of the tears escaping my eyes. I watched him firmly, and I saw as his eyes apologized for something I knew he didn't do.
"There must be a mistake." I turned to the male cop who was now handing me the nearest shirt for me to wear. I rapidly slipped Cameron's shirt over my shoulders.
"Is he Cameron Dallas?" The officer arches an eyebrow, looking over some sort of notes.
I nod.
"We have the right guy." He nods.
"You can't!" I raised my voice. "I don't understand, w-what did he do?"
"We're going to have to ask you a couple of questions-" The officer gripped onto my arm firmly.
"No!" I barked back. "Cameron!" I cried out, calling out to him as the officers then picked him up and forced him to walk away. I wanted to run to him, but the officer holding me hostage wouldn't let me. I was pushing and shoving like a crazy person, but it was absolutely useless.
"Let me just say goodbye. Please?" I cried out to the officer.
His eyes softened and grip released me softly, then nodded over to the other officers holding Cameron. They let him go for a brief second and that's when I jumped into his arms. His arms were unable to hug me back but I hugged him tightly and as I sobbed broken sentences into his ear.
"I'm so sorry-" his voice broke.
"I don't know what's going on. But everything's gonna be okay. I promise." I took his face in my palms, forcing him to look at me. "I love you."
"I love you, don't forget that, okayAlice?" He spoke softly.
I nodded before the officers dragged him away from me and shoved him out the door.
If only my head could take any more, I swear it was on the verge of exploding when I saw my mother standing in the hallway. I stopped fighting as she gave Cameron a death glare and I felt my insides writhe with anger. I was boiling with rage, and I somehow managed to pull away from the officer's grip.
How could she!
I walked over to her as fast as my feet could carry me. "What the hell did you do?" My voice was hoarse, full of venom. I couldn't stop my hands from flying to her shoulders, pushing her backwards with full force.
She instantly stumbled back, losing her grip momentarily. She looked everywhere but at me, and I knew she was wondering if anyone had just seen me do that. Knowing her she probably wanted to protect her "image." A prestigious lawyer like her couldn't have her daughter rage out like that. God forbid I am seen in a scene like this.
