I looked up into the sky and I saw nothing but grey clouds. The smell of humidity hung heavily in the midnight air. That night I saw the storm arriving... But, little did I know it would be arriving earlier than expected.

I instantly got out of the car once Cameron had gotten the room key to our hotel room. That night, strangely all rooms were booked. Only one, one was available. A one bed bedroom. Cameron booked it without hesitation. As I walked up the stairs to the creepy hotel, Cameron walked right in front of me, as Shawn stayed close behind me. When I peered to the side of me, I saw Matt and Nash pulling into the driveway, finally. Once the bedroom door was opened, I held my breath instantly. A heavy horrendous smell hung heavily in the air.

"Geez, did someone die in here?" Shawn snorted.

The room was dark and dim, one of the lights near the bathroom flickered continuously making the room all more creepy, if that was even possible. I wasn't complaining, I could honestly sleep under a bridge if necessary.

"This is a dumpster!" Shawn exclaimed speaking on behalf of all of us.

I cracked a small chuckle as I looked over at Cameron the corner of my eye. I could see Cameron's disgusted expression. He knew it too.

I glanced over at Cameron and flashed him a small smile approvingly.

"I know this isn't the best but this is closest to the airport and we have to keep a low profile, they will never think of looking for-" He began.

I placed my hand on his shoulders to steady him. "It's okay."

"I'm sorry, I know you deserve better than this right now." He peered down at me.

"Stop apologizing, okay? This is fine." I reassured him.

His lips peered down to meet my lips into a brief peck. A loud exaggerated coughing filled the small hotel room and I felt my heart sink. Shawn.

I moved away from Cameron instantly and fixed my eyes back to Shawn, where I gave him a small smile. He avoided my gaze as he took off his jacket and laid it on a small chair in the very corner of the room.

A loud knocking at the door startled us all and my body went stiff. I hid behind Cameron instantly like a little kid hiding behind their parents.

Shawn looked out the pupil of the hotel door, and I saw the way his shoulders fell in relief. "It's just Matt and Nash." He said as he unlocked the door and swung it open.

Behind the door stood two toothy smiley boys, starring at us all in amusement.

"Well, if it isn't dum and dumber." Cameron whispered under his breath and I shouldered him.

Nash and Matt both stumbled in the room loudly and in a blink of an eye Matt had me wrapped up in his arms.

"Hey ya little turd!" He screamed into my ear making me yelp. "so what, you think you're all badass now with your arm cast and everything?" He joked as he put me down from his embrace.

I laughed, "Not as badass as you, let me see that battle wound!" I exclaimed as I playfully tried lifting up his t-shirt.

"Cameron, calm you girl down. She's abusing me!" Matt covered his chest with his hands protectively.

I rolled my eyes at him, mocking him as he spoke. "C'mon let me see, unless you're embarrassed!" I teased.

His eyes widen and he defiantly pulled up his t-shirt revealing a long scar that ran down his abdomen. From the last time I had seen it, it looked so much better, it was nearly fully healed. Matt's recovery had been amazing, after everything that had happened with Skate he was up and running in no time.
