*Alice POV*

I jump off the car, quickly taking my shoes off. I ran over to the beach, as I felt the hot sand against the palm of my bare feet. I buried my toes deeper into the soft, caramel sand. I have missed this feeling. I quickly ran over to the water, as a small wave crashed against my feet, the water is just the right temperature, and I can't wait to spend hours out here.

"Hello! Umm... I need a little help here!" Jenny snapped me out of my thoughts, and I took that as my cue to go help her with our luggage.

"Oh, sorry... Im a little too exited." I laughed, taking the heavy box from her hands. I rapidly unlocked the front door, as we walked into the house. It looks just as I remembered. The black and white theme suite the house perfectly, and everything is fully intact. I walked over to the kitchen; the fridge and pantry is full of food and theres a personalized note sitting in the counter.

-Alicia

I wish I was there with you, but you know I cant due to work. I hope this check is enough to get you through any personal expenses. If you need anything else please call me. Have the time of your life, honey...

Love, mom.

I sighed setting the note down. My mother wasn't lying when she said things would be fully ready when we got here. I really wish she was here, but sadly, being a lawyer is a full time job.

"Holly shit!" Jenny gasped, as she walked into the kitchen. "Please tell me I'm not dreaming. Alice, this is amazing! I cant believe were staying here all summer long!" She took a closer look at every single thing in the house.

"How is this Television is bigger then my bed?" Her jaw drops open and I cant help but laugh loudly.

"Pinch me!" She gave me her hand, and I furrowed my brows.

"What why?"

"That way I know I'm not dreaming. Pinch me!" She demands and I obey her.

"Ouch!" She repulses away from my touch. "Not that hard you idiot!" She laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"Eager much?" I grinned, and she nodded in response, before running back upstairs.

I walked outside where the pool was located. The view was breathtaking. I stuck my feet in the warm yet refreshing pool water. I wish I could live here not only for three months but forever. I think California and I are a perfect match.

I have been looking forward to this all school year, and now that I'm here it feels like I'm living in a dream. I still can't believe my mother is letting me spend my summer here, with my best friend, and no prenatal supervision.

I then made my way upstairs to where my room was located. Everything was just the way I left it last summer. I walked up to the balcony, which had the best view out of all rooms. The view of Los Angeles was right before my eyes, and it couldn't be anymore perfect. I have been anticipating this moment so much. This was the only place where I knew I could be me. This was my home. For so long I have camouflaged myself behind my studies and textbooks. I've always been too afraid to take risks, but this summer will be different, it has to be.

I jump over to my bed, taking out my planner. I have everything planned out. All of the things I want to accomplish this summer are written in this book. Indoor sky diving sounds fun right? I thought to myself as I wrote it down. Before I knew it my eyelids began to feel heavy, and I couldn't resist it anymore. I needed sleep, it's been a long trip... I closed my journal, as I tucked myself into bed not bothering to change my clothes, I'm exhausted.
