Forgiveness wasn't easy to give. Even though we all make mistakes, our hearts can be hardheaded when they have been hurt, they won't bend to forgive. It's a messed up situation.... Just like the one in front of my eyes right now. I stood there watching Clint come into the house that he had once destroyed, I wondered... how could Cameron ever forgive this man? His smug smile and arrogance accompanied him, as well as his new wife, I assumed due to the huge diamond on her finger. She must be at least eight years younger than him.

My brain couldn't comprehend how this man could have caused so much agony to this family and how he still had the nerve to come into this house, with the lingering smell of too much cologne and money. He let his entire family fall, he left them when they needed him the most. He was an addict and I wasn't anyone to judge, but my father wasn't around, and if this is the way he approached me when he tried 'reaching out;' let's just say I would be running the hell out of that place instantly.

Cameron's hand was shaking, I felt it when I reached for it. I intertwined our fingers together as consolation. No one had said a word, not a single one. It was as if the silence in the air was all there was left to say. I squeezed Cameron's hand, hoping to get some sort of reaction out of him, but he stood still, appalled.

"I must say, it's nice to see all of you," Clint smiled, his eyes flickering to everyone in the room.

"I can say otherwise." Cameron furrowed his brows, his eyes were dark full of anger, and his hand grip tightened around me, almost searching for strength. I wished I had enough to give to him.

When Clint turned to look at Cameron, his eyes were full of amusement. Even if Cameron put a strong front, I knew he was intimidated, I saw the fear brown in his eyes. "Are you just gonna stand there? Come greet your father!" Clint smiled at Cameron, his left hand was out for him to shake.

Cameron looked at his hand, then back up to him, anger and pity in his eyes. "You, disgust me." He spat taking a closer step to him. Oh no... I pulled Cameron back and it was so noticeable it caught Clint's attention.

Clint laughed loudly, and I looked away. "Well, well, who do we have here? I don't remember having another daughter?" Clint looked at me, his gaze strong, I returned the stare, icy cold daggers staring back at him. I didn't want to give him the amusement of intimidating me too. But I didn't know how much longer I could return the stare, this man was extremely intimidating.

Cameron pushed me behind him protectively. "Don't you dare!"

"Your girlfriend, huh?" Clint smiled, amused. "What's your name sweetheart?"

I didn't say anything. I didn't feel like it was my place to speak. Now I understood why Cameron was so against coming here, seeing him again. This man was terrible, the epitome of a terrible father.

"You do have a name, right?" He asked again when I didn't respond, his eyes laced with amusement. I even wanted to punch him.

"Alice, her name is Alice," Sierra spoke up, her voice was sharp, angered.

Clint turned to look at her. "Sierra, how are you?" His voice softened slightly as his eyes laid on his daughter. It's hard to picture this man as a soft father, playing princess and prince charming with his precious five-year-old daughter.

"I've been better." She spoke, her arms crossed over her chest. By the look of her face, she confirmed my thoughts. He'd always been distant and cold hearted. No prince charming, that's for sure.

"So have I." He nodded. "Well, I would like you all to meet my fiance, Rose." He spoke introducing the tall, blonde lady on his left. He took his hand out for her to take, and they intertwined fingers together.
