My heart is beating out of my chest. I don't know why Im so frightened, but I don't have a good feeling about this, any of this...

"I see we weren't invited to the reunion," Skate jokes as he approaches us.

I try to hide my face by looking down at my phone. I have no new text messages, so I text my mom, and pretend to be having an interesting conversation with her.

"Take a seat man," Travis kindly offers, scooting closer to me, in order to make room for the rest of the guys.

To my surprise only Skate takes a seat, Sammy and Jack, stay standing. I can feel someone's strong stare burn through me, but Im too scared to look up, my eyes stay hued to my phone.

"Maddy," Jack spits in anger, his devoted attention focused on her.

"Hi Jack," Her voice is small, avoiding eye contact. I finally look up at him, eyeing his every move. "how are you?"

"I'm fine." He chuckles, annoyances laced behind this voice. "I'd ask how are you, but I don't really care."

"You're an ass," She scoffs annoyed, receiving an arrogant smirk from Jack. I stare up at him in disbelieve, but quickly look away when his stare meets mine. Shit!

"Well, well, if it isn't Alice..." His pale purple lips form a wicked smirk, his eyes blazing red. He's tightly holding on to Sammy, and I automatically know he's highly intoxicated, possibly even drugged. I can't even respond to him, Im embarrassed, and incredibly frightened.

"I see everyone knows her." Travis wraps his arm around my shoulder, making my body tense even more.

"Yeah, we're very, very familiar." Jack grins, and I look down at the floor avoiding his glare.

"You're always full of pleasant little surprises... And I must admit, out of all places, this is the last place I thought I'd find you in."

"Why is that?" Travis questions intrigued.

"You clearly don't know her very well... If you did, you'd know that Alice doesn't come to things like this. She thinks she's too fucking good for everyone and everything." He harshly remarks, his rude words making me flinch.

Where is all of this anger coming from? I haven't done anything to him... Well, besides ending things with him, for good. But he and I both knew it was for the best, our relationship wasn't going anywhere. My heart always laid in Cameron's hands. Im snapped out of my thoughts when suddenly, Sammy's phone begins beeping out of control. He picks up the mysterious phone call before awkwardly excusing himself out of the situation.

"Well, thats a little harsh man. I think you've have a little too much to drink." Travis furrows his brows, getting up from the bench to grab him, in order to keep him from falling.

I turn to look at Cameron, hoping he will look at me but he doesn't. His eyes intensely watch the scene in front of him; his jaw is tense, his hands are into tight fists, and his knuckles are tuning white. He's only six feet away from me but he feels like he's miles away. He being so distant...
