Chapter 17

*Cameron's POV*

I was so angry at Alexa for showing up uninvited. What the hell was she doing here?

"I'm sorry, did I interrupt something?" She fake frowned, locking eyes with me.

I shot her a cold glare.

"No, okay great!" She gave me an ignorant smile. I hated when she did that, she had such a bitchy attitude.

"Oh, you must be Alice! It's so nice to finally meet you!" She said, holding her hand out so Alice could shake it.

"Finally?" Alice asked shaking her hand confused.

"Yeah, Cameron has told me so much about you." She smirked at me.

I gave her a fake smile. I didn't want Alexa anywhere near close to Alice.

"Oh, and you are...?" Alice asked.

"I'm Alexa." She smiled. "Cameron and I are really, really good friends." She said winking at me.

Alice's eyebrows furrowed as she looked up at me. By the look on her face I instantly knew she was confused.

All I could do at the moment was play it off. I knew that Alexa was still angry for my rejections and she would do anything to get back at me.

"Yeah, Alexa and I are good friends." I fake smiled.

"Oh! You have no idea." Alexa laughed.

I shoot her a look. Not now I silently scream.

"Cam!" Matt called out, startling me.

"What?" I asked, my eyes never leaving Alexa's, I was beyond pissed.

"Oh.." He said as his eyes went wide when he saw Alexa and Alice.

"Alice, um your phone won't stop ringing. I'm guessing it's something important." he cleared his throat awkwardly.

"how do you know it's my phone?" she asked.

"because it won't stop playing Ed Sheeran." he smiled. It was truly crazy how much Alice loved Ed Sheeran. I couldn't keep a smile from appearing on my face, despite how mad I was.

"Oh, then I guess it is my phone." she smiled shyly as her cheeks turned a light shade of pink.

"I'll be back." She smiles at me.

I nod, as I watched her disappear into the house followed by Matt.

Once I was sure she couldn't hear us, I grabbed Alexa by the shoulder as I began to interrogate her.

"What are you doing here?" I asked through gritted teeth.

"I thought I'd surprise you." she smiled ignorantly.

"Cut the bullshit Alexa." I growled. "What do you want?" I whispered angrily.

"I just wanted to visit you." She smiles, stepping closer to me.

"What's the real reason?" I ask, my grip now getting tighter on her arm.

"Taylor invited me over." she smiled weakly.

"Taylor." I scoffed. Of course, Taylor was behind all of this. I quickly let go of her arm disgusted.

"Get out!" I demanded.

"No." She challenges.

"Cam, don't tell me you don't miss me." she steps closer.

"I don't." I say, coldly.
