Upstairs in the study, Freya, Elizabeth, and Kai were on yoga mats, attempting a peaceful morning stretch. Emphasis on attempting.

Kai groaned as he collapsed onto his mat, sweat dampening his shirt. "Ugh. This is impossible. My body wasn't made to bend like this."

Freya and Elizabeth sat cross-legged on the floor, both perfectly calm as Kai dramatically rolled onto his back like a dying seal.

"Maybe if you focused instead of complaining," Freya said with a smirk.

"Yoga was supposed to be fun," Kai muttered, reaching for his water bottle. "I regret everything."

Just then, Klaus walked into the room—looking every bit as annoyed as Kai, though for very different reasons. His expression shifted when he saw Freya.

"What are you doing here?" Klaus asked, then leaned down to kiss Elizabeth on the temple.

Freya gave him a dry look. "...I live here?"

Klaus sighed. "Right. Obviously."

Freya stood and shifted into another graceful pose, barely acknowledging him. Kai dragged himself over to the couch, flopping down with a dramatic sigh as Elizabeth joined him, grinning.

Klaus crossed his arms. "I just hadn't realized you were back from... wherever it is you vanish to. I suppose I was thrown off by the lack of strange gentleman callers raiding my fridge this morning."

"Exposed," Elizabeth murmured with a smirk. "Dirty little witchy Mikaelson."

Freya winked at her, then added cheerfully, "Your concern for my social life is adorable."

"I just like to know who's in my house," Klaus snapped. "I don't think that's too much to ask."

Before Freya could reply, Hayley and Elijah walked into the room—Hayley looking smug, Elijah amused. Elizabeth's smile vanished the moment she saw Hayley.

"Well, since we're talking about attendance..." Hayley said with fake sweetness.

Klaus rolled his eyes. "Oh, wonderful. My not-so-loving brother and the woman who abducted my daughter. What a delightful, completely normal family gathering."

Hayley ignored the jab. "Elijah was just catching me up on how you have no clue which of your ancient vampire buddies is out to kill you."

"You're pretty high on that list, actually," Elizabeth said, voice cold.

Hayley narrowed her eyes, but before she could speak, Klaus interjected with mock cheer, "Yes, clearly what we need is more opinions." He turned to Elijah. "I assume you told her about the bloody prophecy?"
