𝗜𝗡 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗛 Kai Parker's little sister, Elizabeth after escaping her prison world, sleeps with the only vampire that can procreate, just her luck. Being pregnant with a miracle child, what a joke.

It had been a week since Elizabeth started living with the werewolves in the bayou.
The room was fine—spacious enough, smelled vaguely like wet moss—but it wasn't the compound. She missed the cool stone walls, the luxury, her bed. Mostly, she missed his scent in the hallway.
She spent most of her time with Hayley, usually trying to pry her away from Jackson, which was nearly impossible. The guy was practically fused to her side like a barnacle. Or an overgrown Labrador.
Still, the wolves were... nice. Grateful, too. They'd thanked Elizabeth repeatedly for lifting their curse, even thrown a party in her honor. That part had been weird. She wasn't used to being liked—not in high school, and definitely not at home. But there was something satisfying about being appreciated. Unfamiliar. Kind of nice.
Eve was kind and knew an alarming amount about childbirth. That part freaked Elizabeth out. There were things she wasn't ready to know—like mucus plugs. No thanks.
And now, here she was, in her room, half-clothed and currently making out with a very cute werewolf named Jared. He was eighteen, sweet, had a jawline for days, and didn't mind that she was pregnant. He even let her siphon from him now and then. The perfect distraction.
Except it didn't feel perfect. Not really.
His lips moved to her neck. His hand slipped under her shirt. She closed her eyes—and instantly felt cold inside. Wrong.
"Stop," she blurted, gently pushing him off.
Jared sat back, confused. "Did I do something wrong?"
Elizabeth shook her head, heart pounding in confusion. "No. I just... this feels weird. I usually love this kind of stuff. Kissing, making out..."
He gave her a half-smile, tugging his T-shirt back on. "Thanks?"
"Oh no, I didn't mean you. You're a great kisser. Especially for someone who spent years howling at the moon," she teased, then sighed. "It's not that. I just... felt bad when we kissed."
"Maybe you've got feelings for someone else," he said with a shrug. "What about the baby daddy? Why aren't you two together?"
Elizabeth froze. "I don't do dating or feelings," she said flatly. "I just sleep with people."
"But you have feelings for him, don't you?"
She hesitated, genuinely unsure. "I mean... I was pissed when I found out he was screwing someone else. I wanted to hex that witch into next week. I like being around him. Just us. I love his stupid British accent. And the sex was..." She trailed off, a little embarrassed. "Let's just say I wanted more. That never happens."
