I have been studying for finals all day when I decide that I need a break. I put my books on the table and walk to our bedroom to get dressed up. Ben is working at the bar until close this evening, but that is too long for me to wait. I want to surprise him, and I want to make my presences known. I exchange my tank for a tight corset top and my yoga pants for a pair of tight, dark washed jeans.

Walking to the corner of the living room, I sit at my vanity table and toss my long blonde hair into a messy bun. I wear my eye makeup darker than usual and coat my full lips with a thick red lipstick. I grin at my reflection - this will cause him to be majorly distracted.

I take a cab so I can ride home with him on the bike. Bobby is at the door checking IDs, the line is super long this evening and I hear people shouting my name towards the back. I look up and see my old roommates waving at me.

"Can you help us get in?" Grace asks looking sweet.

Bobby doesn't look up from the current card he is checking and mumbles. "I've been told to not let those bitches in, Ally."

I let out an exhausted sigh. "Ben?"

"Who else?" He looks at me and smirks.

I wrap my small arm around his muscular forearm. "It's okay Bobby, just let them wait in line like everyone else. I'm sure their drinks will be watered down, and they will just need to spend more to get buzzed. Do I get to sneak in?" I bat my lashes at him.

"Bartender Ben made sure that you were on the VIP list at all times." His deep laugh echoes around us.

I can't help but join the laughter. Bobby is using the nickname I gave Ben. He informs me that Ben has threated to beat the living crap out of him if he ever heard him say it. Both of us laugh harder because there is no way Ben could take Bobby down.

"It's a good name." I smile.

Bobby squeezes the button on his mic. "BB, which bar are you working at tonight? The main bar?"

Once I hear which bar, I'm on my way inside and waving goodbye to Bobby. When my boyfriend sees me, his eyes get huge, and I watch him talk into the mic. Within a second, Bobby's huge arm is wrapped around my tiny frame, and he is guiding us towards the back staircase to the small VIP room.

Something is wrong.

"What's going on, Bobby?" I ask once we are upstairs sitting in the dark room.

The large bouncer doesn't say a word to me. Bobby goes to the railing and starts pulling the sheer curtains closed. I watch from the center of the room with narrowed eyes, he starts talking into the mic softly, so soft, I can't make out a single word.

I curl into the leather couch and walk Bobby looking out into the club through the sheer curtains. He nods and whispers something back into the mic.

"Bobby?" I ask again.

He turns to me and looks at me with an apologetic frown. He is shaking his head before he starts talking. "I'm sorry Ally, I don't know what's going on. Ben is adamant that you stay up here and don't move."

"What? You can't leave me up here. Bobby, I'm terrified of the dark." I plea. "Just tell Ben that I will go home and wait for him there."

"Ally. STAY. HERE." Bobby barks at me.

My body is shaking with fear. "Don't leave me until he gets up here." I say frighten. My voice gives away my fear.

"Bobby to Rick...can you watch the door for 15 minutes? I'm inside dealing with a security issue." He says into his lapel mic.
