I'm standing next to him on the bunny hill, and I was using all the self-control I had to not laugh at him. Ben is having a hard time just steadying himself on the snowboard. I think he moved an inch and that was completely accidental. Little guys and girls are passing him on the hill which only added to his frustration.

"Ally, I'm never going to get this." He exclaims throwing his hands in the air.

Frowning, I move to him and put my hands on his hips and instruct him to bend his knees a bit and push forward slowly. When he does, he gets very shaky and falls on his butt. A little girl next to him looks down at him with huge eyes.

"You can do. You're so close." She encourages him.

My heart swells at the interaction.

Ben is great with kids, and I can picture a future with him for the first time. Reaching out my hands, I tell him to grab on while I pull him up. I ask if he wants to take a break and grab something to drink.

"Show me. I want to see you do it." He says looking down at me.

"You make it sound so dirty." I grin up at him.

The two of us have been at Grouse Mountain for three hours and I was starting to believe that we would never leave the bunny hill.

At Ben's request, I grab my board from the snowbank and moved to the top of the hill. I put my board on and waved to him. Snowboarding is something I picked up quickly. Alex and I would spend our entire Christmas break here. I love snowboarding down the mountain and seeing the ocean in the distance. There is something so magical about this place.

"Ready?" I shout down to him.

When he nods, I tell him to pay attention to my knees and feet. I push down on my board and go flying pass him within seconds. When I look back at him, he is standing behind me and grinning.

"I'm ready to try the bigger hill."

"Are you sure? Maybe we should practice a couple more runs down the bunny hill?"

"No. Ally, I'm ready to do this." He says grabbing his board and walking towards the lift. I take a deep breath and say a little prayer before running after him.

We make it down the run three times before he wipes out hard enough to think he broke something and that is when we decide to call it a day. While he is trying to take his board off, he falls forward and lands on top of me.

Laughing, I reach up for his face and kiss him. We are sinking lower and lower into the snow. His nose is cold on my cheek, but his warm tongue warms me from head to toe.

After a couple minutes of laughing and kissing in the snow like a bunch of teenagers, he reaches for my hands and pulls me up to him.

I pull Ben into the lodge so we can have something to eat and drink before I take him to the next place I have planned. Ben is too busy looking at me that he misses all the teenage girls drooling over him.

"I was thinking that we could go home and change before going out tonight. I have somewhere special to take you." I say before finishing my hot chocolate.

"Home? I'm really liking the sound of that." He grins.

Looking at him, I wrinkle up my nose. "It feels that way again. Home is where you are." I say unable to look at him.

"Ditto." He grabs my hand and pulls me out of the lodge. We hurry to the car and speed to the house. Once we are safely inside the door, our clothing start hitting the floor one piece at a time.

Standing outside the room my parents once shared, he looks at me. We have been sleeping there the last two nights, and it was getting easier. Having sex in this room was a different story.

"Ally?" He purrs my name.

Nodding, he picks me up and carries me through the doorway. Kissing me, he sets me gently on the bed. I take a deep breath and look at him with adoring eyes. I love this man.

"Merry Christmas Eve!" Ben hooks his fingers in my panties and inches them down my legs. "You are the best damn present I've ever unwrapped." He kisses me.

"No. It's me that should be thanking everything for you." I twirl my fingers around his long hair.

"Are you ready to make this bedroom ours? I think we should mark everything in this room. We can start on the bed, move to the couch, have a quickie in the shower, and then finish the night on the balcony wrapped in blankets and staring at the stars." He purrs in my ear.

I run my fingers up and down his arms and smile at him. "I want to stay here forever. Let's forget our life in Boston and just stay in this bedroom until we die." I smile.

Ben's fingers move inside me, and I arch my back. "Until we die...you might get sick of me."

"Never. I will never get sick of you." I promise him.
