Anne Hathaway, American actress, as Nora

Ada

"Rise and shine gorgeous."

Ada grunted in responce without opening her eyes.

"I'd love to spend the day in bed with you, but I'm late for work..."

Ada's eyes snapped open. She shoved him off the bed. He smelled wrong. Felt wrong.

"What the hell?" Ben sounded more shocked than angry.

That was probably not how Nora treated him in the mornings, but Ada wasn't her sister.

"Get out." Ada turned around, pulling the covers over her head.

"Seriously, what the hell?"
Now he was angry.

Ada pretended to be sleep.

"Ada, I'm talking to you."
He shook her shoulder.

"I know, and I'm ignoring you. Now leave by the door, or I'll throw you out of the window."

He huffed in anger. Ada heard the rustling of clothe. "What's wrong with you?"

"you're giving me a headache, that's what."

"You were kinder last night..."

"That's because you weren't talking. Show yourself out like the good boy that you are, and leave me the fuck alone."

"It wouldn't kill you to be nice from time to time you know."

"It would actually."

"So you didn't have fun last night, not even a little bit?"

Ada threw a pillow at him without turning around.

Ben sighed. "Fine, I'm leaving. I'm late for work anyway."

After he left, Ada uttered a sigh of relief, and stayed in bed a little longer, not yet ready to start another meaningless day.

She got up after a bit and splashed some water on her face, put on some clothe, and strolled towards Nora's bedroom to tell her about last night.

They might not be on best terms with eachother right now, but she was still Ada's sister, and she didn't want there to be any misunderstandings between them.

When she got to Nora's door, there was already a conversation going on.

She heard Ben's smug voice. "...Just like you asked. Ada was so happy. She bought the whole thing, that I really wanted her, and all of that. It took a bit of work, but I told you I could do it. At least she believed me last night. This morning she practically threw me out. She's a bit crazy if you ask me..."

"Be carefull." Nora said. "Ada and I might not be close but she's still my sister. She's still family."

Ada stood there, hand raised to knock, frozen in place. How could Nora have done this to her? How could she have crossed that line?

Ada was such an idiot. She had let Ben fool her. No, not just him, both of them. Her own sister had orchestrated this whole thing.

"Of course. I didn't mean to be offensive." Ben's voice was sheepish. "I want her to be happy, just like you. We have to make sure she doesn't find out. Ada really doesn't like being lied to, and I don't like losing any vital organs..."

Ada stormed out of the house. She had to get out before she burned that fucking mansion to the ground.

She didn't know who she hated more, them, or herself.
