Terence Telle, French Model, as Gideon

Ada

Everyone's heads snapped up to take in the intruders who were standing on the other side of the celler.

The big, black haired man was the one who had threatened Ada. Four more people flanked his sides. Two women, and two teenagers.

"We appriciate all your efforts but the cure is ours now so hand it over nice and easy and we'll be out of here without anyone getting hurt." He was holding out his hand expectantly, eyes locked on Gideon.

Who the hell were these people? Ada looked at Marcia who mouthed bad news.

Maggie put the cork back inside the vial and handed it to Marcia without a word. She slipped it in her jacket pocket. Ada saw the intruders eyes following the movements.

"What should we do?" Ada mouthed back at Marcia.

"Wait."

"For what?" Ada felt dread crawl up her spine, but Marcia wasn't looking at her anymore.

Ada glanced at the brothers and Maggie, their attention fixed on what was happening in front of them.

"Do you fancy a drink?" Gideon drawled, strolling towards the table in the corner of the celler.

"You better not be thinking about doing anything stupid Gideon." The man warned, his hand going to the sword dangling from his belt.

"When have I ever?" Gideon snatched up the bottle, and held it out towards them, as if they were his guests, and he their host. "Please, have a taste. I promise it's devine."

The intruders looked at him with questioning eyes. None of them obeyed. They were immune to his charming tongue.

He took a sip, and licked his lips. "Delicious. You should really give it a try."

"Cut the crap." The man growled. "Hand over the cure."

Gideon chuckled. "You wound me Micheal." He brought the bottle to his lips, and took a sip.

Ada wanted to stalk over there, and slap some sence into him. It was obvious these people were dangerous.
They should be either fighting them, or trying to escape. Marcia could make all of them disappear.

An involuntary gasp scaped Ada's lips when an arrow embeded itself in the wine bottle Gideon was drinking.

It shattered in his hand. The liquid swooshed out, running down his clothe, staining them red. The broken shards fall on the ground with a loud clincking sound.

Gideon glanced down. "You ruined my shirt."

It was a simple white t-shirt with the phrase I ❤️ london imprinted on it. Ada took a step towards him, but Marcia snatched her arm, and pulled her back.

"Let me go." Ada hissed. "That idiot's going to get himself killed."

"I said wait." She murmured.

"For what?" Ada asked again, feeling restless, and agitated.

"For the signal."

"Who's?"

"His."

Gideon clicked his tongue at the teenage boy that had loosed the arrow. "What a beautiful, poisonous thing. It's a shame you missed."
