NoraShe opened the door on the third ring. "I didn't think you'd come."
"You call, I come. It's that simple." Jack said with a smile, cheeks pink from the cold night air.
"You brought pizza." Nora exclamed.
Jack grined, the corners of his hazel eyes crinkling. "Good to know vampirism hasn't made you hate the most holy creation of mankind."
"No one can say no to pizza." Nora opened the door wider to let him in.
"Where's your Mom?" He looked around.
"Out with friends."
"So what's the plan?" Jack asked, following her further into the house.
"I was thinking we could watch a movie." Nora suggested.
"I'm down, as long as it's not a romantic comedy."
"Don't insult me." Nora snorted.
He chuckled. "Horror?"
"Horror." Nora agreed.
"Movie, or Tv show?" She opened the door to the home theatre.
"Doesn't make a difference to me, as long as it's good." Jack put the pizza box down, and took off his coat, throwing it on a nearby couch.
Nora rummaged through their CD collection. "I know just the thing." She put it on.
Jack plopped down on a big, comfy recliner, crossing his legs over each other. "American Horror Story? Never heard of it."
Nora sank down beside him on an identical recliner. "You'll love it. Ada and I used to watch a lot of TV together..." She stopped and mentaly scolded herself. "Sorry I didn't meant to ruin our night."
"It's OK. I did too, with my siblings. Well mostly with Genevieve...before she... you know." Jack said with a bitter smile.
"You don't anymore? with James?"
"He always ends up falling sleep in the middle of the movie."
Nora chuckled. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna fall sleep on you."
"Thank God." Jack beamed, and opened up the pizza box, taking out a slice for himself, and handing one to her.
"How did you know margarita was my favourite?" Nora bit into the pizza, savoring the heavenly taste of tomatos, cheese, and basil.
The edge of Jack's mouth quirked up. "Lucky guess."
"Thanks. It's so fucking delicious."
"You haven't heard from Ada?" His tone had gotten serious.
"No, I'm not calling her. She'll come back if she wants. When she wants."
"I just want you to know you can talk to me, about anything." His voice was gentle.
"I know." Nora gave him an appreciative smile and pushed the play button. "now shut up. It's starting."

"This series is gold." Jack licked strawberry ice cream off his spoon.
"Glad you agree. Wait till we get to the next seasons. It gets even better." Nora shoved a spoonful in her mouth.
"I want to hate these psychos, but I really can't." He mused.
"Tell me about it." Nora chuckled. "It's impossible."
"I think I have a thing for Jessica lange. She's smoking hot."
"Same. I mean I'm pretty sure I'm straight, but She's just amazing."
"She is a badass queen." Jack agreed.
"I also have a thing for the rubber man." Nora grinned.
"You're starting to scare me." He gave her a concerned look.
"He's hot." Nora smirked, taking a sip of her blood.
"Ok, now I'm officially cripped out." Jack yawned. "I don't think I can sleep tonight, or is it this morning?"
Nora threw a popcorn at his head. "It's three am. Stop being paranoid. I'm not going to kill you in your sleep."
"You better not, I'm a light sleeper, and have really quick reflexes."
"All right Bruce Lee." Nora threw another popcorn at his nose.
"Hey stop that." Jack chuckled sleepily and threw his pillow at her. It smacked her in the face.
Nora hugged it to herself, and stuck her tongue out at him. "I'm not giving it back."
"You're mean." He pouted lazily which made him look really cute.
"I know." Nora smirked. "You up for another episode?"
Jack yawned again. "I don't know. I need to be at work in a couple of hours."
"Shit, why didn't you say so?If I knew I would have made you go to bed sooner."
"Don't worry. I don't sleep much. And I like binge watching TV shows with you."
"You idiot." Nora shook her head at him, but she was touched. He had stayed up late with her so she wouldn't feel lonely. "Thank you." She threw Jack's pillow back at him.
He cought it with a smile, and put it under his head, then lied down, and pulled the blanket over himself. "We should do this again. I'm hooked."
"I would love that, but next time we'll go to sleep sooner."
"Deal." He snuggled up with his blanket. "good night Nora."
"Night." She turned everything off, and took the empty pizza box, and ice cream to the kitchen.
When she came back she found Jack fast sleep, lips parted slightly. Nora smiled, and layed back in her own recliner.
