Kostas Martakis, Greek singer, as Adrian*
Ada
The room Thia had given her was a five star suit.
Ada hugged her knees to her chest, and rested her forehead on them. The water in the tub had turned murky, and red with blood. It was cold now and she was shivering.
A sob scaped her throat but no tears followed. She was choking on them, and they wouldn't come. The image of Maggie's ripped open body never left her mind. The dead children's faces were never far behind.
I'm so sorry.
I never meant to...Letting go of her knees, she submerged herself in the water, only to groan in annoyance when the door bell rang.
Why couldn't she fade away?
Ada unpluged the tub, took a quick shower, and put on a dark green robe. She opened the door to a smiling Adrian.
"You look..." He started.
"Not in the mood for small talk." Ada cut him off.
"Can I come in? This is not a conversation to have in the hallway."
Ada stood aside.
"This place looks spotless." He observed.
"Why shouldn't it? I barely touched anything beside the blood in the fridge." Ada shut the door, and sat in a sleek black armchair.
Adrian did the same, more gracefully. "I thought maybe you'd take your anger out on the furniture, not that I would mind..."
Ada started at him. "Listen your majesty, I'm not here for a psychological analysis. Your girlfriend said you had something to tell me, so speak up, or I'll be on my way."
Adrian ran a hand through his already tousled black hair. "I need to tell you something even though I know you don't want to hear it..."
"Then don't tell me."
"You're no match for Angelina."
"What did I just say?"
"Even Marcia couldn't kill her, and she's one of the most powerful witches in the world..."
"Maybe she didn't have enough determination."
"If only you knew how wrong you are..." Adrian shook his head.
Ada got to her feet. "Looks like you have nothing important to tell me after all."
He remained seated. "Even if you manage to kill Angelina, that won't be the end of it. Revange is a vicious cycle Ada. I would know. My siblings, Lykos and Aretha, will come after you next..."
"Let them." Ada went to the bedroom, and rummaged through the hangers.
"You don't have any questions for me?" Adrian said from behind her. "Why I'm not like my siblings? Why they are like this. What they want?"
Ada chose a black tank top, blue jeanes, and a grey winter jacket then threw them on the bed beside Adrian. "No offense, but I don't give a shit."
