Ada

"Damn, I didn't see that coming." James said.

"Me neither." Ada found herself grinning, impressed with Gideon's dirty ways.

Gideon was on the man in a flash, tearing at his throat.

The teenagers looked appalled, the women angry.

"You'll pay for this. All of you." The witch snarled and attacked Marcia, hands raised in mid air, black eyes burning with hate.

"Try not to die." Marcia told them as she met her half way, one hand clenched, the other moving around too fast for their eyes to follow.

Ada let go of Maggie and saw she was grinning as well. "You knew?"

Her grin widened. "Of course. I'm one of the team."

"Good act." Ada complimented her.

"Thanks." She reached out, and squeezed Ada's hand. "I'm sorry you got dragged into this. Do you know how to fight?"

"Yeah. Don't worry about me."

Maggie gave her a quick kiss. "I love you."

She had moved away to fight before Ada could say it back.

Maggie sprinted towards the woman, tackling her to the ground. She didn't look like herself any more. She had turned into a lioness.

Ada stared at her in awe.

"I didn't know she could do that." Jack mused.

"Me neither." Ada whispered, not able to take her eyes off her.

Maggie's gift was breathtaking. She was so savagely beautiful.

It made Ada sad to think by taking the cure she would be losing this part of her, but it was her choice, and Ada had to respect that. She wished she got a chance to snuggle up with Maggie before it would all be gone, run her fingers along her soft body...

"I have cteated a protective barrier."

Marcia's voice brought Ada out of her thoughts. Ada turned to her, feeling embarrased that she'd been daydreaming about Maggie.

"Your family's safe. They won't be able to hear us, and those bastards can't get to them." She said as she deflected a fire ball sent her way by the black haired witch.

"Thank you." Ada told her.
She looked around to find an opponent for herself.

Jack was fighting the one eyed woman. She was attacking James at the same time with her other sword. They managed to knock her out by breaking her neck.

Looking to her left, Ada saw the red headed siblings coming their way. Their bows were fastened to their back, and they were holding on to two identical spartan swords.

"Guys, I'm really sorry I got you into this mess." Ada told the brothers.

"Are you kidding?" Jack said. "I can't remember the last time I had so much fun."

"Just..."

"Don't die. We know." James's voice was crisp and professional.

The siblings finally reached them and they raised their swords, exploding into action. Ada hoped the brothers wouldn't hurt them too badly, or kill them. They were only children after all.

Drawing out her dagger, Ada decided to help Gideon out with the werewolf. He had regained control, and was attacking Gideon viciously with his claws.
