Chapter 24 - Old Fling: Part 4

After our romantic night together, it was 10 am in the morning, we overslept and completely naked. I rose from sleep seeing Kamala getting ready, I stretched my arms out as I joined her in shower.

"So my beautiful future wife is going to take a shower without me eh." I smirked sneaking behind and kissing her neck.

"How's my baby doing this morning?" She questioned while turning to face me, water simmered down mildly, we both lock lips while bathing in the shower then holding her close, I gave her a love bite on the neck, marking her as she purrs.

"I love you Alex." She said as she kisses me repeatedly.

"Love you more, Kamala." We enjoyed some more kisses as the smoke rises.

After shower, we both got our everyday clothes on, Kamala wore a pretty turquoise sundress with matching sandals and sunglasses while I got on Nike's Lime shirt and shorts that comes with matching shoes.

We both headed out the room holding hands when Meena with her daughters and Maya along with Kamala's grandma and father was walking out going somewhere fun, my cousins joined them alongside.

"Alex we're taking the kids to the beach, your more than welcomed to join us." Mom said as she and dad with the rest of my cousins with the Obamas walked to the elevator.

Barack and his daughter's walked down the steps, getting ahead of them.

"Well see you guys later on." Kamala said as we both walked down the stairs too, making our way to the lobby, we entered the lobby as we waved at Barack goodbye while leaving the hotel, there Kamala and I walked to the car and got inside.

We then headed off to the mall, to meet up with Montel, taking a nice ride down the expressway then heading into the highway.

We finally arrived, meeting Montel as he waved, I still didn't wave back at him while still something seems off about him, what's his motive and why the hell he wanted to take Kamala away from me? Sometimes I thought to myself, I don't want to lose Kamala so I tried to be better.

"Hey Montel, it's nice seeing you again." Kamala hugged him as he slowly moved his hand downward, I watched closely glaring.

"Hey." I said as he suddenly pulled away

"A-Alex hi." He nervously chuckled.

"You both ready to hangout, and talk this out." Kamala said as we both agreed heading inside to walk around, chilling and catching time.

I held Kamala's hand as we walked together with Montel.

We all looked at stores as Kamala's friend suddenly shows up, waving excitedly the two of them waved and hugged.

"Vanessa, I miss you so much." Kamala said, it's like a reunion all of the sudden. Vanessa noticed me as she smiled suddenly.

"Hello sexy, you looked handsome." She said seductively as I gulped a little, feeling a bit uncomfortable I backed up.

"My name is Vanessa Carmichael, yours?" She questioned as I noticed from the corner Kamala furrowed her eyebrow with the expression while Montel continued talking.

"I'm Alex, Kamala's fiancee." I said eruptedly in a low voice, as Vanessa suddenly stops, she turned to Kamala with shock

"Kamala, girl you forever keeping to yourself." She said as Kamala blushed.

"How about we talk about this, woman to woman." Vanessa suggested as she and Kamala walked to the food court, while I watched.

"Kamala is still beautiful especially when we aged, youthfully." Montel said looking at her, I furrowed my eyebrows angerly trying not to get mad, but this son of a bitch I swear to god, if he touches her.

"Well, let's go and join them." I said walking down the steps, while Kamala and Vanessa are at the vegan taco stand.

They was making conversation, and I bet Kamala finally told Vanessa about us, I can tell because she's blushing like crazy. The two of them ordered themselves something to eat while I got myself chicken ceaser salad to eat, Montel walked over to Kamala as she went directly to me to sit down.

"So are you gonna tell us about you two?" Vanessa questioned as Kamala frozed alittle by the thought of it.

"Yes I am, well that's why I brought you out here Montel, also I want to hangout with you before I head back to DC." She said as Montel awaited for the news.

"Since your curious, me and Alex...we're in love." She said as Vanessa smiled in awe, Montel on the other hand looked puzzled by the reveal, as I held Kamala's hand.

"And we're engaged." I said proudly.

"Congratulations you two, well um, hey Kamala can we talk? Alone...." Montel asked as I furrowed my eyebrows. Kamala put her hand on my knee reassuring me that everything is okay, of course I can trust her....but it's her ex, I'm having a hard time trusting.

The two of them left the food court with their food remaining there while I began eating my meal alongside Vanessa.

KAMALA POV

I followed Montel to the halls right by the bathroom, as he looked a bit shocked.

"Kamala, you didn't tell me that you was getting married." He started off, somehow telling him would make things messy.

"Well Montel your right and I'm sorry, it's just you I don't tell anyone yet until the time is right, and today is that day." Clearly making my point across.

"I guess maybe I was late, I know I made a mistake in the past, believe me.... I never meant to hurt you." He continued.

"I want you back Kamala, I-I love you."

My face went pale by the sight of his confession, no.... I love Alex, I want to be with the man I truly love and that person is not Montel.

"No Montel, it's over between us!" I firmly made a statement.

"What does he have that I don't, I'm more of a man than he is, and I'm matured at heart!" He snapped, I quickly got angry, how dare he talk about Alex like this...

"ALEX IS MORE MATURE THAN YOU WILL EVER BE, HE MADE ME FEEL WANTED AND LOVED UNLIKE YOU WHO NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS, CHEATED ON ME WITH DIFFERENT WOMEN, AND CALLED OFF OUR ENGAGEMENT!!!!" I spat angrily as Montel remained silent.

"It's over between us, I waited for you.... For 19 years, and I realized that I need to move on, that's when I met Alex." I said emotionally.

"He's not only going to be my husband, but also the father of his child I'm baring... I'm pregnant Montel." Finally build a courage to speak my mind to him, Montel couldn't say anything but to look dumbfounded as I began to walk away.

"At least I'll be able to remember this before you go." He suddenly grabbed me and kissed me as my eyes widened, and I became shocked, angry, and most of all sad that I'm not strong to push him away from me.

"You can't fight our love Kamala, I missed you so much!" He said holding on to me as I struggled.

Finally got the grip, I shoved him away as I wiped my lips of his kiss and smacked him hard in the face.

"I hate you!" I angrily said as I walked back enraged by the fact he kissed me.

I ran towards the food court seeing Alex, I ran close and hugged him tightly.

"Baby, are you okay?" Alex questioned as Vanessa walked towards me in full concern.

"Baby...I'm sorry....Montel..." I cried tearfully as Alex got upset.

"What did he do to you!?" He rose his voice.

"He pulled and tried to kiss me after I told him that I only love you... I only want you, and he kept saying he wants me back...but I want you Alex...." I sobbed on his shoulder as him and Vanessa comfort me.

"That son of a bitch!" Alex got up and ran after Montel.

"ALEX NOOOO!!!!"
