December 4th - two weeks before Christmas
It's been two weeks ever since Thanksgiving, and on top of that we've been pretty much busy with decorating the house from top to bottom.
Still though things haven't changed due to the massive racial sexist attack affecting my wife and still it's been a rough week for the administration due to voting rights bill getting axed by the senate to criticism over Kamala's choices. At least she doesn't have to worry at work anyways now that Kamala is officially on the maternity leave from the office, we been spending a lot of quality time together at home surrounded by family December is here and Kamala is now 8 months going on 34 weeks along, soon it won't be long until the birth of Shy. My mom, auntie, uncle and cousins have been staying at the Hilton hotel downtown, and they're planning on staying in Washington DC till January 2nd right after the new years comes in and the birth of my daughter, Shyamala.
Kamala's been getting her some big sleep, with her sister and nieces are here as well along with Jackson and Nikolas. Donald Harris also checked into the hotel in Hilton as well.
*beep, beep*
It's Saturday morning, despite the fact like I usually do on my regular days off I got up while Kamala is still asleep in bed peacefully.
Hmm, I guess I can go make some breakfast for the family, maybe pancakes and sausage sounds good. Welp time for me to get busy then.
I hurried downstairs to the kitchen and began preparing breakfast for everyone. Getting out ingredients, and turning the stove isle on. Making sure my hands is cleaned enough to began making our meal. Preparing the pancake batter, whipping it up nicely ready while the aroma smell of sausage fills the air in the skillet.
*sizzling*
"Hmm smells good down here." Jackson appears wearing Maya's college t shirt and his own pajamas pants.
"Yeah, don't wake Momala up yet. She'll be smelling the cooking eventually."
"Got orange juice, Maya needs some." Jackson asked while looking in the refrigerator.
"Yep, the cup is on the table." I flipped over two pancakes while checking on the sausages. Jackson pours the drink into the cup. Footsteps can be heard upstairs, it's possible that Kamala must've woken up or the kids may have smell breakfast.
"Good morning, what's that smell." Meena came down the steps with her daughters who still look a bit drowsy.
"Making pancakes, eggs and sausage for everyone."
"That's good, I'll go wake up mom." Meena sat her daughters down on the chairs as she went back up the steps to wake up Maya who is still asleep just like Kamala is too. While placing another set of pancakes on plate, they ran around and started playing.
"Hey, be carful you two." I warned.
Kali's barking can be heard from upstairs, coming from my room. Kamala probably has already woken up.
"Auntie!" The girls shouted excitedly running to Kamala who just came down the steps. Leelah pounced up and down the on Kamala happily as I turned the stove off finished cooking for the family and made up the eggs along with the sausages.
"Good morning sleeping beauty. How is your relaxing sleep going?"
"It was fine, until you left the room without telling me." She pouts as I gave her a kiss.
"I'm sorry babe, I wanted to fix some breakfast for the family." I said as she gave me a kiss on the cheek. Meena and her mom, Maya came downstairs along with Nikolas.
