Chapter 93: A Cancun Vacation- Part.1

Kamala has gotten herself in a busy schedule while attending to Shy who at most of the time is around her mom. I was able to get some rest but like always, there I go back to doing the same routines with the baby as Kamala became busy with work schedule. Yasmine went on more overseas in Kamala's place due to Shy, plus we both don't want to leave our baby unattended while being away from home and mostly, Kamala has been very attached to Shy at work and at home.

During the day once she's finished working and doing daily briefings, she'll sit in her office rocking chair and started bottle feeding Shy with her breast milk in the bottle to make sure Baby Shy is well fed. Once she's finished then comes the burping and resting. But, I'm still left the hard part of the problem.

*Baby Shy cries*

Me changing her diaper wasn't very easy as it sounds, especially when a baby started squirming. I thought calming her down would help but it didn't work plus, she giggles a lot every time I clean her. Half of time she'll give Kamala more difficult time as well while we both try to get her to calm a little. Once she finally stops crying and starts laying on Kamala again we both sighed in relief for a little bit.

But by the time we got home again, it's the repeated pattern every time. Our routines as parents are simple. Kamala bathes and bottle feeds Shy while I prepare dinner and wash the dishes. As easy as it sounds, Kamala and I both loved every minute of it, even if Shy throws up a little while we pat her back trying to get her to burp. At dawn, 4 am in the morning every day to me it's like an early sunny rise wake up call, and Shy is like my adorable alarm clock. With Kamala sleeping, I get to bond more with my little princess.

"Dada loves you Shy, your so cute just like your mommy! Yes you do!" I cooed as Shy giggles while I changed her diaper again.

After changing her diaper and her dressed by in her onesies, I took her back to my room with Kamala sleeping in the bed still, Shy loves it when I play calm soothing sounds on my phone as she finally sleeps in the same bed with us.

It's been going on like this during the whole month on repeat, over and over. With so much to do, places to go and people to see, no matter how many times we've been busy with work, Shy will always be our number one priority....

May 11,2022- Cancun Vacation

It's been months since the beginning of the New Year and our daughter's arrival, and June is around the corner.

My family just flew in just two days ago via through Air Force 1, due to Kamala's request and is currently here staying at the official residence until today, the day we're heading to Cancun. It's already 4 am in the morning, sun has risen and everyone getting packed. Meena already texted Kamala yesterday last night letting us know that they left earlier and they're on their way overseas to Cancun.

The weather outside began to change like before except it rains during the morning and gets hot at day till evening, we'll be expecting some showers coming down for 2 days back and forth along with the humid weather 79 degrees. I took Kali on the morning walks with Shy as Joe sometimes joins us with his puppy during the weekends if he's not tired.

Shy loves going to the park and plays with her toys while Kali plays with other dogs. Sometimes we run into Doug who is seen racing his son, Cole.

"Hey Doug." I waved as he catches his breath waving back. Wearing his gym wear along with air max Jordan's we both sat down by the bench as Ella picked up Shy and held her.

"Man, these kids have grown on me already. I remember like it's yesterday." He said reminiscing the good days before the Pandemic came.

"Yeah, back in the day we really didn't need to wear facemask at all, in fact we do whatever the hell society throws at us. At least we're fully vaccinated and won't have to worry about a thing." I said as Doug chuckled.
