Kamala and I became too attached to our newborn daughter as we relaxed inside the office after showing her photos, Shy started latching on Kamala as she is being breastfed. Afterwards Shy became too full from drinking her mother's milk. Just in case Kamala ran out of milk to pump, at least I got the formula beside if it's needed.
"Good girl, Shy! You must be so hungry, yeah." Kamala said in a babyfied voice as she carefully places the infant on her shoulders and she begins to burp her.
"See baby? That's mommy on her inauguration day a year ago before you was born." Kamala showed Shy who is now smiling reaching out for the photo as she recognizes her mother. I found the photo of her late grandmother and decided to show her the picture as well.
"Sweetheart, there's someone I want you to meet. This is your grandma with your mommy when she was a baby and her name was Shyamala Gopalan-Harris." I said as she smiles widely.

"She smiles just like you babe." I said looking at our daughter her couldn't help but to smile a little.
While Shy is being held by Jill who is still in awe looking at Shy. Kamala spoke with Yasmine about her busy schedule for the next three months until Kamala is back on her feet again.
