Future- 2030
"Ladies and Gentlemen now introducing the President elect Kamala Devi Harris and First Gentleman Alexander Cortez Harris Sr." Kamala and I walked hand to hand down the steps as many began waving at from the distance. As the world was watching, it was clear blue skies We all stand and clapped as Mom and dad walked to the seat in front of us.
"Yay!" The children shouted excitedly as I high fived them.
Finally beginning the presidental inauguration....
The ceremony started as I held a bible out in my hand for my wife. Kamala beamed as she placed her hand on the cover as I watched her being sworn in for the first time as female President.
"I , Kamala Devi Harris, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.” once Kamala finished, everyone cheered on as our kids jumped from their seats just to hug their mom and I.
"Yay mommy!" AJ, Angelo and Beau wrapped their arms around Kamala hugging as our youngest daughter Keira tries to reach as she gets picked up by Momala and walks back to the seat.
"My little babies!" Kamala said happily in blink of tears as we sat down together as a family of 7.
Then Gavin, Kamala's long time friend from California was being sweared in as Vice President well after he said his sworn quotes, everything went great during the ceremony that morning. From the small concert to the speech It was a long inauguration at least everything went very well unlike before when Kamala was being sworn in as a Vice President in 2021, and in person it was the first time in a long while we had a rainbow shining over DC. Once everything was over. My wife, Kamala finally became the first female President of the United States, and I officially became the First Gentleman.
Everyone left the Capitol as we walked down the steps, there they been greeted by former President, Joe and his wife Jill as they congratulated us.
"Congratulations Kamala, and Alex." Joe said smiling proudly as we hugged.
"Thanks Joe, for all you've done for this country. We'll be wishing you both the very best luck you deserve."
"Oh gosh, Alex. Me and my wife is already happier than ever before. I've already completed my dream now it's your wife's turn." He said.
"I knew you had it in you Kamala. And deep down inside I'm very proud of you and I know your mom is too." Joe's words were enough to lift Kamala up in spirits, making her day seem more brighter. They hugged again one last time
After Pence left, we were escorted to the car, along with the Bidens. Me and Antwon sat with mom and dad while cousin Meena, Amara and Leelah sat with Auntie Maya in the different car. First we drove to the cemetery, it was a long ride there to the point we fell asleep on mom's shoulder. Antwon was held by dad during the ride.
"Kids we're here." Kamala said as I held the kids hands while I walked close by Kamala who is seen near mom holding Keira. There was a grave of the unknown soldier, no one knows his name nor where he or she's from, joined by Vice President Newman, they both prayed while we both stand and watched.
"Daddy who's grave is that?" Beau asked pointing out.
"That's the grave of the unknown soldier, no one knows his name nor his race." I said as the triplets became scared hiding behind me.
