After we sat our things down on the bed and relaxed a little with Shy napping on the bed. A knock came in as I went to open, there the kids ran inside hugging Kamala while Amara went to hold Shy, Kamala held Leelah in her arms as the triplets sat on the bed.
"Surprise!" Maya said as she and my mom walked in reaching her arms out egarly to see Kamala as they hugged.
"How's my baby niece?" Maya cooed seeing Shy giggling as Amara rocked her as mom took photos.
The twin boys started running around the room.
"Boys what did I tell you? No running in the bedroom, wait till you get outside and go play." Mom said as Zeke and Zachary frowned. Rachel, Amara and Leelah giggles reacting to the whole thing.
"Well we have a whole day planned, all week is gonna be party and when I say party, I literally mean by drinking, dancing, playing games, bachelor activities for adults and whole lots of fun." Maya snapped her fingers as Kamala giggles.
"Well I guess your right but I brought my laptop and work with me from the White House and you already knew by now that stuff like these comes first along with my baby girl." Kamala reminded Maya as mom agreed.
"Your right honey, but there's nothing wrong with taking a break, plus you deserve it after all the things you did for this country and what a great mother you are. You deserve this break Madam Vice President and daughter in law of mine." Mom said hugging Kamala.
"Later on tonight, kids upstairs while grownups eat at the bar. Right now I have to go meet Jackson's mom, she's really strict." Maya said laughing while walking out the room.
"Okay girl, we'll see you later." Kamala said to her sister.
"Well, since your here now and the day is still young and beautiful out, can you take the children out for the evening? I know how much you love kids and plus your a father now." Mom asked as Kamala sat down cradling our baby daughter in her arms.
"Tag your it!" Zeke said as mom grew irritated
"I swear to god! Every time we go on vacations....Excuse me, I have to deal with your cousin, Thing 1 and Thing 2 AGAIN..." Mom ran and caught my twin cousins, Ezekiel and Zachary both are running in the hallway as Rachel sat on the chair playing on her phone.
My other cousin, Judy and Sarah, my mom's niece and auntie Vicky's daughters, both of their husbands Chad and Ricky walked over and saw us as they gave me and Kamala a hug.
"I told you two to stop running around the hallway!" Judy scolded at the boys.
"Don't worry Judy, the kids didn't do anything wrong. They're just bored that's all." I said as Rachel and Leelah tugged on my shirt.
"Baby, how about we all go do something and spend time with the kids. Plus, we both can have quality time with Shy." Kamala suggested as the kids jumped
"Good idea, besides we both agreed on taking Shy with us whenever we do something like this again. I think this will give us enough time to have a family outing." I said as Kamala kisses Shy on the forehead.
"Okay, well you all when you get back. And again thank you Alex, they really enjoy yours and Kamala's company." Sarah said as they walked out of the room.
Kamala's nieces jumped up and down with my cousins shouting.
"Auntie, WE ALL WANT ICE CREAM!" The kids jumped in excitement as Kamala looked at me as if she's tired.
"Okay, calm down follow the leader." I said pointing Kamala as she smirked. With that being said I got the stroller out and ready as I put Shy inside.
We all walked of the room with the kids as they ran down to the elevator.
