Backstory: Her parents gave her to Arachne as a trade for a secret of immortality, but Arachne killed her parents and raised Hikari as if she was her own and most often, trained her as a tool to use because of the fact she is a weapon, though she occassionally protested in which led to her getting punished and often treated as an experiment. At some point after turning ten years of age and finding out there was nothing she could give Arachne to have Arachne finally be happy with her, she escaped and ran away to try and get away from it all as quickly as she could. She eventually made her way to Death City and began to go around, stealing to get food and only using her weapon side to get away from getting caught.
Other: ~She has a fear of spiders because of her fear of Arachne and how she treated her ~Though she tends to be having a motherly approach to others, she normally comes off with a motherly instinct to others and doesn't realize she is acting motherly (which mainly occurs towards Black Star and Tsubaki) ~She often has a tendancy of keeping a distance from witches until she learns whether she could trust them or not. Her signs of whether she'd be able to trsut the witch, is if she slowly warms up to someone but if not, she'll keep further distance. ~She always wears cuffs around her wrists and a collar or choker around her neck as sign to herself that she can never truly feel free from anything involving her past, especially Arachne's control of her, though she never tells anyone but Crona the truth of it because she feels like no one else would understand her reasoning behind it all ~She always skips out of Stein's classes and avoids his laboratory because she isn't comfortable with the thought of dissection, and so, she always sits on a roof to wait for classes to be over during that period and does a numerous number of activities to keep herself entertained ~She's easily distracted, so the slightest strange noise will distract her occassionally ~Bescause of her stealing habit, she's often looting other student's lockers, even if the lockers belonged to her friends, but she always leaves a note of what she stole and if it's not food, she tends to return it when she's finished with it.
