Other: ~Acts as Persephone's companion / guardian ~Often carries an umbrella with her, in case the sun comes out ~Was cursed by Thoth [Egyptian God of Wisdom], which made her extremely vulnerable to sunlight ~Whenever she goes with Persephone to create spring and summer, she often stays in a nearby cave, or anywhere there's extensive shade. ~Often tries to snag candy from Buddha, but always fails at it, but not to eat, just to see if she can pull it off, so it's become something of a playful thing for them. ~She doesn't necessarily like Zeus, but holds respect for the power himself and Odin have. ~To herself, she views human sacrifice as the highest disrespect to the gods, at least herself.

Backstory: When she was born, Thoth came to visit Perses and Asteria and when no one was watching, Thoth set a curse on Hecate to make her vulnerable in the sunlight, due to knowing that she'd likely grow up powerful, born from two titan gods. As she grew up, she wanted nothing more than to be able to play games with others her age, except she could only leave her home at night when everyone slept.
When she turned of age, she was told the truth by her parents that Thoth had put a curse on her, causing her to hold resentment towards him. Ages pass and she was able to socialize with humans and there were many children she passed on the blessing of magic to, only for them to end up sacrificed for having that gift. Angered, she killed those in a rampage who were cheering during the sacrifices of the children she gave the gifts to. After she killed half the people there, Hermes was able to step in and stop her from killing any more of the others.
Some ages after that incident, she was sent to Helheim to help Hades run things down there and was eventually made to be Persephone's guardian by agreement of both Demeter and Hades for when she was on Earth and in Helheim with Hades. Although, whenever Hecate eventually recieved the gift of an umbrella from Hermes so she could be around Persephone longer when it was time for her to come up to Earth.
Due to her title as the God of necromancy, magic and witchcraft, she is often only in another's prayers to curse another, in which she rarely answers, due to many occasions of praying for a curse upon the person to be needless and unfair.
