Chapter 14 Revealed

"LILLY! Are you alright?!" Someone yelled. My vision was getting blurry but I can still see slightly.

I heard someone land next to me. I turned my head over and saw a blurry Shaun.
"What's wrong? Why are you on the ground?" He asked. I barley could get any words out, so I showed him my hand. His face looked shocked. He looked down and quickly got up. Blood was on his legs. He knelt back down and slowly turned me over onto my stomach.
"Oh my god!" Said Shaun shocked. He rolled me back onto my back. He put his arm underneath my legs, and the other under my shoulders. He lifted my arm and put it around his neck. He lifted me up and launched a wire. As he was carrying me through the forest, I looked down and saw the puddle of blood staining the green grass. My back was begging to burn even more, but it wasn't just back. It was my whole body.

As I was looking at the ground, I notices that I was leaving a smoke trail. My eyes widened. What if Shaun notices? What if he starts asking questions? What if he doesn't want to be my friend any more? I began to panic. I felt my heart racing.
"Lilly, can you hear me?! I'm bring you back to the training yard."
"Thank you." I whispered. That is the only volume I was able to get out. Justin increased his speed. I felt the wind hit against my face, and watched my ponytail flow with it. I looked back at Justin, I slightly smiled. Still after 3 years, I think of him more then a friend.

I saw him turn his head back. He turned his head forward with some kind of scared face.
"Is that Titan smoke?" Shaun asked. I didn't say anything, hoping that he would think I didn't hear me.
"Answer me! I know your not dead! I can feel you heart beating!" Shaun snapped. I sighed and said "Yes."

He gulped, and said "Your a Transformer." He said. I rarely cry, but this is when the gates open and I can't stop it. I closed my eyes, as I let the tears run down my face.

"Why are you carrying Lilly? What happened?!" Yelled another cadet.
"Someone cut her back with their blades! Her back is bleeding a lot, and she is barley responding when I talk!" Yelled back Shaun.
"Oh my God! How can I help?!" Yelled the cadet.
"I got her, but I need you to go to Battlow and Jeager and tell them I'm coming!" HURRY!!" Yelled Shaun.

I opened my eyes and saw the cadet race ahead of us.

We finally got to the training yard. Shaun had a tough landing, but made sure that I was still intact.
"How is she?" Asked Jeager.
"I don't know, she was bleeding a lot, when I got her, but it stopped once the smoke started." Replied Shaun as he was putting me on the ground.
Jeager looked up shocked.
"All cadets, except Cadet Mariana Stevens Cadet Jen Carsol and Cadet Shaun Bakes, are ordered to leave this area, and to not ask any questions!" Ordered Jeager.
"Sir!" Replied the cadets.
"Bakes, go get Mariana and Jen. Tell them to come here. And you are not to tell anyone about the smoke!" Jeager ordered again.
"Sir!" Replied Shaun. I watched him run until he was out of view.

"I'm rolling you over onto your stomach." Said Jeager quietly. She rolled me over and she ran her finger along the cut.
"It's already beginning to heal, but luckily it wasn't deep enough to paralyze you." Said Jeager. I sighed in relief.
"There is still some smoke, but not so much where a lot of people will notice." Said Jeager.

"Where are my friends?" I whispered.
"They'er coming." Replied Jeager. I moved my arms to caution my head. I looked over and saw 3 figures come out of the forest and run to me.
"Here they come." Said Jeager. I smiled and closed my eyes.
"What happened?!" Asked Jen.
"Someone cut her back with their blades, and by the injury, it looks like it was on purpose." Replied Jeager. I opened my eyes, and saw Jen kneeling next to me.

She looked down at me and saw that my eyes were open.
"Lilly, can you hear me? Are you ok?" Asked Jen. I smiled and said
"I'm fine, as soon as the smoke is done and I'm healed, I'm going back out there, and finishing my day with a good score." I replied.
"Lilly! Don't mention the 'smoke' with him around." Whispered Jen.
I giggled and looked up at Jen's face.
"He already knows." I said. Jen widened her eyes and looked up at Shaun. Mariana walks up to him and grabs onto his jacket and shirt. Mariana pulls him close to her hight.

"If you say anything to anyone, about Lilly's ability, or the smoke from her cut, you will NOT see the light of day! And don't test me!" Snapped Mariana.
"Mariana!" I said, loud enough for her to hear me. She looks over at me, her face worried.
"Let go." I finished. She looked back over at Shaun and pushed him away, letting go off his clothing. Shaun stumbled back, but quickly regained his footing.
"Your probably not going to go back out there. The attacker cut the back side of your MV gear." Said Jeager.
I widen my eyes and dig my nail into the ground.

"Jen, take her hands from underneath her head and put them on the side of her body." Said Jeager, reacting to my anger. Josie does so and I lay there raged.

I felt strong enough to stand up, so I attempt it. I move my hands under neath my shoulders and straighten my elbows. I slid my knees up, making me in a 'table' position.
"Lilly..." Started Jen.
"I'm FINE!" I snapped. Jen backed off and gave me some room. Eventually I get myself standing up. I turn my head to look at my back. From my right shoulder, to my left hip, are two long cuts. Smoke was still escaping from the cuts. I looked down and saw blood all over the back of my uniform.
I turned my head back towards the front.

"Strong." Whispered Shaun.
"Now, if you excuse me. I'll be finishing my test." I said walking away.
"Wait!" Someone yelled as I launched a wire. I pulled my trigger and flew off. As I was soaring through the branches I noticed that I'm not going the exact direction I wanted to. I stopped at a branch and took off my uniform jacket. I sat down and laid it on my lap. I stared at the two slashes through the Training Corps symbol. I ran my fingers along the cuts. I looked at my finger tips, and saw that the blood was still somewhat wet.

I tore off the upper half of my gear. The metal that held straps was broken. If something like that was broken, I wouldn't be able to hold the machine that shoots out the gas. Without the metal holder, it made the straps long, and in the way. I grabbed the two long ends of the straps and wrapped them around my stomach. When they were short enough, I tied them into a not. I stood back up.
"This should be able to work." I said to myself. I jumped off the branch, and launched a wire. As I was shooting a wire from tree to tree, I remembered that I left my jacket on the branch. I quickly turned and swung around. When I got to the tree, my jacket was gone.

"It must had fallen off the branch." I said to myself. I decided not to look because I didn't want to waste any more time. As I went back to flying through the trees, I waited until a dummy popped up.

Eventually one did, and I pulled my trigger to get to the dummy faster. I looked down and saw that there was a shadow, that wasn't mine. I looked up and saw that a cadet was right above me. The cadet turned away ad stopped at a tree branch. I looked back at the dummy and winded-up my blades to stoke it. I couldn't do a flip, sense I took of the top of my gear. So I held my blades underneath my arms. With my free hands, I grabbed onto my wires and gave myself enough momentum to flip. As I was spinning through the air, I grabbed onto my blades and sliced the target.

I turned back and saw that my cut was deeper then other cuts I've done before. I smiled and pulled my trigger. As I was gliding through the air, I saw someone standing in the trees. I turned my head and saw that is was Battlow, holding a clip bored. I turned my head back and turned another way, trying to avoid him. As I turned I heard him yell.
"Cadet Starks! Come here!"
"I'm sorry, but not now! I need to finish this test!" I yelled back. I left and waited until another's dummy opened up. None did.

It was nearly sunset until I gave up and went back to the training yard. I landed on the ground when I got to the braking point of the forest. I walked to where I saw people gathered around. I slid my blades into its holder. As I got closer and closer to the crowd, I realized that the slashes were beginning to bleed again. I put my hand on my back, I pulled my hand away and saw that there was blood. I turned my head and saw that smoke was starting to flow out of the cuts. My eyes widened and I panicked. I stopped and turned my head back to the crowd.

They gasped. All of them had shocked faces.
"That's Titan smoke."
