Chapter 22 Suicide

It's bright, so bright that all I can see is plain white. I look around and see someone standing near me, with their back turned. The person turned around, and I saw that it was Tom.
"What are you doing here?!" I asked getting mad. Tom looked at me and smiled. Then the brightness turned dark, until all I can see is Tom.
"What's going on?!" I ask getting even more angry, and now annoyed. His eyes turned red, and blood began to flow down. I gasps at the site of it and back away. As I'm backing up, something stops me. I turn around and see a massive foot. I look up and notice that the foot belonged to titan. I back up away from the titan, wanting to see the whole body. It was at least a 20 meter class. The smoke from the creature swarms near the shoulders and legs. Until I notice that a person was being swallowed up in the back of the neck. I watch to see who the person is, then I see it was me!

The titan had strips of muscle threw out its body. The eyes were a glowing greenish-blue, and the hair was long and brown. The ears were pointed, it looked like that this titan is some kind of hybrid of Eren's and Annie's titans.
Is this what my titan form looks like?! The titan looks down at me, I can feel my hart beginning to pound at the site of this. The titan squats down, and I freeze completely still. The titan moves its arm and reaches behind me. I instantly move out of the way and move my eyes to where the hand is going.

I look over and see a corpse, but I can't tell who's. I run over, still staying out of the way, and stand at least five feet away from the body. My eyes widen to the site of the body.
"Mariana." I whisper. Her body looks to be as if it was crushed. Blood smeared across her mouth, and down her nose. Her eyes shined as she laid there dead. I notice something else was shinning. I look over to her cheek and notice that tear marks were flowing down her cheek.
"What happened, how can you end up dead?! Your the best! How did this happen?!" I scream.

The titan scoops up Mariana's corpse, and brings it close to its face. I watch as the titan's expression quickly changes, to pure rage. Suddenly I notice that the titan is producing tears, and that they drip down the face. The titan turns around and puts Mariana down. It turns back and raises its fists near its face, as if it was going to fight.

All of a sudden, a deep, loud roar screams from behind. I turn around and see at least another 20 meter class titan. This titan almost has the body of the armoured titan, but not exactly. This one only has the hard skin near its joints and neck. The rest was muscle. The titan takes a step forward and winds up to throw a punch. As it fires the punch, the foot of the other titan slams into the stomach of the the other.
"What's going on! Why is this happening!" I scream. I fall onto my knees and hold my head.
"Wake up! WAKE UP YOU PEICE OF CRAP LILLY!" I scream. I can feel tears beginning to run down my face.

Finally it becomes bright again. I look up and squint my eyes from the light.
Suddenly I begin the hear voices. I can't hear them clearly, it's muffled. Then I hear two very familiar voices, crystal clear.
"Lilly! Please wake up, we need you." Cried Jen.
"Lilly, if you can hear me, I want to you to know, that if you want to avenge your parents, Michelle, and all the other people who died from the titans, you need to FIGHT!" Snapped Mariana.

She's right, I need to wake up from this nightmare and continue to fight. I eventually let go and fall down. I look up at the two titans. They were completely frozen. The titan's foot was still in the stomach of the other. I close my eyes and fall asleep.

I open my eyes and see everybody standing around me.
"What happened?" I ask. I move my arms and lift myself up.
"You passed out, and we didn't know what to do. So we just waited until you woke up. We didn't start trying to wake you up, until we saw you crying." Said Carol.
"I was crying?" I asked feeling my cheek, and finding and wet streak.
"Yeah, were you dreaming?" Asked Jen.
"Something like that."
I said curling into a ball.
"What happened?" Asked Jen.
"I'll tell you later, not now." I replied.
"Well, first things first, get up, you look like a turtle." Laughed Jen.
"Shut up!" I snapped.
"Jeez, someone's cranky!" Laughed Carol
"You know what, screw you guys." I said annoyed. I unfold myself and tried to get up. As I stand I get light headed, and begin to rock back and forth. I put my hand and my head, then I fall backwards.

"You probably shouldn't be getting up just yet." Said Shaun.
"Whatever." I say looking away. I widen my eyes and remembered that we need to keep an eye on Tom. I turn back to Shaun and ask "Where is Tom?"
"He's been missing sense yesterday. What about him?" Asked a cadet walking through the crowd. I look up and see the man standing above me.
"I was worried that he was hurt, or something." I said, lying through my teeth. I look over at Jen and raise my arm. She grabs onto it pulls me up, and puts my arm around her shoulder to hold me up.

"We need to find Jeager." I say. She nods her head and we leave the mess hall. As we'er walking out the door, Carol yells "Where are you two going?"
"I'm taking her to Jeager, maybe she can help Lilly. Don't worry she'll be fine. I promise!" Said Jen looking back smiling.
"Wait! Do you want me to show you where she might be?" Asked Julia.
"That would be nice, yes!" Said Jen. Julia ran towards us and got in front. She turned around and had a big smile on her face.
"Lets go!" She said. Jen nodded her head and we continued to walk.

"Alright, Lilly time to talk. Did you have a vision, or something?" Whispered Jen.
"I guess."
"Spill it." Commanded Jen.
"Someone, a spy or something, has to keep an eye on Tom. He might be a threat, but I'm not sure. He had an evil smile, then was covered in blood." I said.
"Ok, keeping and eye on him should be easy. What else?"
"I saw myself, as a titan." I added. Jen gasped and looked at me with her eyes widened.
"Are you serious?!" Jen said with excitement.
"Yes, and it was fighting another titan."
"What else did you see?" Asked Jen. I sighed, not wanting to say the other thing I saw.
"It was Mariana. She was dead." I sighed.
"Then we need to keep an eye on her too, I guess. If we want her to be alive. We need to have her guarded." Said Jen.
"Yeah, but her body was squished like a pancake, as if she was crushed. So the thing that killed her was massive, it could have been that other titan I saw. But I guess we should consider having guards anyway, just to be safe." I added.
"Yeah."

As we are walking Julia turned around and still had her big smile.
"Ok, you are going to have to go that way. Jeager should be in there, if not, I can't help you. But you better hurry up, because she and I will be leaving for an expedition in 30 minutes." Said Julia.
"Ok thanks! You better come back, I plan on seeing mom and dad!" Laughed Jen. Julia nodded her head and pointed to the building to the left. Jen nodded her head and we started walking again.
"Jen, I think I can walk now." I said getting annoyed.
"You sure?"
"Yes." Jen took my arm off her shoulder and letted go. I put down my arm and stood up.
"Thanks, you know I don't like to depend on people for help." I said laughing.
"Yeah, I know. But it's a bad habit."
"What do you mean?"
"Sometimes you need help, some people do. You can't deny it. But you try to and sooner or later you hurt yourself. And I wish that you will fix that about you, because I feel that it's going to get you killed." Said Jen in a worried voice.

My eyes widened, but I relaxed and crossed my arms over my chest.
"Sense when do you care so much about me being stubborn?"
"Sense you saved me from committing suicide!" Yelled Jen. My eyes widened again.
