Chapter 37 Final Battle

I watch as my Titan grows and flesh being created. My Titan body is hunched over due to the ceiling, but as it gets taller and taller, it eventually smashed through it. I look around to see if I can find Tom or anyone else. I step out form the collapsed bunker, now looking like a big hole, and sift through it. I can't find my parents, but I see Mariana. She's laying on the ground with her head and body pushed unit the floor. I pick her up and bring her close to my face. Memories of her and I start flashing through my mind.

The time when we were working at the market. When her father died and we had to save her, and all the other times we were happy.

I started to cry as I laid in nape of the neck of my Titan. I turned around and laid Mariana's body in the ground. I began shifting through the rouble again, but soon was thrown back by the impact of another Titan growing. I got back up and watched as a Titan appeared from the smoke. It was like Tom had said, his Titan was a mixture of the colossal Titan and the armored Titan. It has the tough skin on the lower jaw, the neck, shoulders, lower arms, torso, thighs and shins. I took a few steps back, worried of what was coming to me. Tom's Titan got into a stance that looked like he was going to sprint. Surely enough, he did. He had a powerful start, and was rucking in my direction. My fears of this fight consumed me. I couldn't move my legs for me to get out of the way.

Because of this, Tom was able to ram into me. I flew back. I got up and saw that I destroyed buildings. I look back at Tom and saw his fist. I couldn't react, and was then punched in the eye. I stumbled back and smoke started going through my damaged eye. I steadied myself and got ready to kick him. I took a step and swung my leg towards him. As I did, I made sure to crystallize my shin so my leg wouldn't be injured.

Tom got his arms ready to block my leg, but I knew there's no way he can block this. Once my leg slams into his arm, he grabs onto my foot. My eyes widen to the result of my kick. I try to pull my foot away, but he tightens his grip. He then swings me by leg and let's go. I fly then crash into building and slide along the ground. I get up and see something go by the corner of my eye. I look over and see that Jen has used the gear to get only my shoulder.

What are you doing here?! You'll get hurt or killed.
"Listen Lilly! You have to attack him on his joints! There's no tough skin there! C'mon, I know you can beat this bastard!" Jen yells. She fires a wire and leaves my shoulder to go to a nearby building. I look back at Tom and he's getting ready for his next attack. He then charges at me. I calmed myself down and stepped out of Toms path. I quickly crystallized and sharpened my hands. Tom turned his head and swung his fist to try to punch me, but he was to late. I slam my hands into the joint of his elbow. I watch as his arm falls from his body onto the ground. The blood on my hands from Tom's Titan evaporates, and the single arm begins to evaporate as well. Tom backs away and his upper arm begins to smoke.

In the distance I can hear Jen yell "Nice job! Keep hitting the joints!" I turn my focus back to Tom and saw there was something a little strange.

Suddenly someone screams "FIRE!" I try to look where it was said, and noticed that long wires were shooting from the buildings, into Tom's open flesh. Having his joints being flooded with hooks and wires, Tom is now not able to move. I relax and Jen uses her gear again to stand on my shoulder.
"Can you understand me?" She asked. I nod my head.
"Ok. Dr. Jeager and the commander agreed to capture him to try to get answers. Sense he has the armored Titan genes, the only place to attack him is the joints, so that's where they aimed the wires."

I look over to the building near Tom and see cadets standing on roofs.
"There going to try to cut him down." Said Jen. My eyes widened, and I start to shake my head
"What's wrong?"
The cadets fire their wires from their gear onto the Titan. One by one they leave the roof and swing to the back of the neck of Tom. I wave my arms to try to get them to stop, but it's to late. Tom rips his flesh from the hook and wires, and begins to take down each cadet, one by one.
'Stop.'
'Stop!'

I notice that Dr. Jeager and the commander intertwine and work together to get some slashes through the joints. They are doing damage, but very little. Sense Jen was standing near my ear I was able to hear Jen whisper prayers to herself. I continue to watch as Tom tries to hit them down, but is unsuccessful. Jeager and The commander both seem to be carrying twice the amount of gas tanks then other cadets. By have that amount of gas to use, they are now technology twice as fast.

I could tell Tom is getting frustrated from not being able to hit one of them. I walk closer to Tom to try to land a hit on him. Jen probably figured what I was doing, and launched wires int my shoulder to keep her still. When I get into position to hit him, Jeager and the commander get out of the way by moving to the opposite sides. I crystallize my fist and slam it into his left eye. My eyes widened to the result.

Nothing happened. No damage was made. I try to back up to get some distance, but he grabs onto my hand and kicks me into the opposite direction. I can feel my arm has been ripped from its socket. I crash land into buildings, I move my eyes over my left shoulder and saw that Jen was no longer there. I look back at Tom's Titan and saw that he was coming closer and closer to me. He swung two objects around. There was Dr. Jeager and the commander. He then slams the two bodies into other buildings.
'No!'

I stand up from the rubble, still shocked of what I just saw. I try to get my footing, but Tom was to fast. He swings his fist to the side of my head and I go to flying. I crash into more buildings. My arm is now half way grown back. I lay on the buildings rethinking of what I just saw.

I can hear Tom's footsteps getting louder and louder towards me. All memories I've had with Jeager start flushing through my mind. From when I first met her in my village, when she helped me cope with being a shifter, when she helped me through training, even to just a few days ago. To think seeing someone well and full of life, then seeing them helpless and dead.

'You'll pay.' He steps closer.
'You'll pay!' He takes another step.
YOU'LL PAY!!' I snapped. My Titan springs up, crystallizes the fingers, then slashes at Tom's face. The Titan falls back and covers its face. I watch as smoke leeks through his fingers.

He then tries to kick me, but I quickly dodge it as I begin running twirls him. The crystals on my hands cut through Tom's armor. I start slashing at his chest and back as I move around him.
'Die!' I hiss as I cut his arm
'Die!' I slice through his arm, and it falls to the ground.
'Die!' I begin to cut his left leg.
'Let me kill you!' His leg drops.

Tom then falls down now that he doesn't have much balance anymore. I jump on him and sit on his waist. I get excited when I see his face full of panic and fear. I start shredding his his neck and face. He tries to hit me with his left arm, but I dodge all the attacks. I start cutting through his arm until that falls off ass well. I begin again cutting his body.
"You'll pay for everything! I'll rip you apart! Inch by inch! There will be nothing left of you!" I scream.
I stare at his head, no longer a face. The Titan skeleton and flesh fill the surrounding area with its smoke. I get up off him. I go to the side and turn over the smoking Titan, revealing the neck. I cut it open and stare at Tom's face and body attached to the flesh. I smile and get excited.
'I'll rip you apart!!' I hiss. I raise my arm, and swing it down to cut Tom in half.

Suddenly I feel my body go numb, and I can't see anything. I try to move, but I loose consciousness.
