Why would the commander want to know about my titan ability? How did he find out? Why did he want Mariana as a witness? I didn't transform, so why? It must have been when she saw my hands healed, or heard Jeager talking about it, or the other reasons I haven't noticed.
"Why would the COMMANDER want to know about my ability?" I asked, getting nervous that I'd be put in jail or examined.
"He just asked me of things I've noticed and the brigade you and most of us are planning to go to." Replied Mariana.
"But why did Dr. Jeager want you as a 'witness' ?" I panicked.
"Calm down, Jeager was just making sure that the commander understood the situation. He has plans for you, big ones. But don't worry, I made sure those 'plans' were ok." Replied Mariana again.
I nodded me head. Suddenly someone knocked on the door. Mariana got of the door and opened it.
"Hello!!!" How are you doing?!" Yelled Jeager. She walked in holding a clip bored.
"Fine." I replied
"Good! I'm just checking on you hip. How does it feel?" Asked Jeager.
"I don't know. I've been asleep for most of the day." I replied
"That's okay, I expected that you would be." Said Jeager. She looks over to Mariana and Jen, probably to see if they noticed anything while I was asleep.
"While she was sleeping, it seemed that she was in pain, but that depends on her." Said Mariana. She went back to leaning on the door and crossed her arms and put on foot against the door. Jeager nodded her head, then turned back towards me.
"So do you want to try to get up?" Asked Jeager. I nodded my head and flipped off the sheets covering my body. I was still in my uniform, but my jacket and belt were off. I sat up and swung my 'good' led on the side of the bed. Then I slowly moved my 'bad' leg to the side of the other. As I sat on the side of the bed, Jeager walked closer to me, but game me enough room at the same time.
I slid off the bed, putting one leg on the floor. I stood up, still holding onto the bed, and slowly began to put my other leg on the floor. Eventually I was able to put my 'bad' leg on the ground next to the other.
I took one step, putting my 'bad' leg forward. As I pressed the force of my weight onto my leg, there was a slight pinch in my hip. I quickly put my other leg forward.
"It's not so painful where I can't walk on it, it's just painful enough to piss me off." I said, as I limped to Jeager.
"Good. Hopefully it won't piss you off so much where you scratch you hands." Replied Jeager. I rolled my eyes and leaned on the wall.
"Mariana, Jennifer, lets leave the room for a minute. Lilly, look at you hip and tell me if there is a bruise or not." Said Yeager walking out of the room. I heard Jen moan, because Jeager referred to her by her full name.
"Ok, and Dr. Jeager, can you please call Jennifer, Jen. She has a bad past with her full name." I said, trying to help Jen.
"Hm... Ok, sorry about that Cadet Jen. Please forgive me." Said Jeager to Jen. Jen smiled and nodded her head. She looked over to me and mouthed 'thank you'. I nodded my head, and they left the room.
I pulled down the one side of my pants on the right leg, just enough to see my hip. I looked at my hip and saw there was a bruise. It was purplish-blackish. I pressed on the bruise to see how much force my hip could take. About five seconds of force, and I made myself collapse. There was a thud as I hit the floor.
"Are you alright Lilly?" Yelled Jeager.
"I'M FINE!" I yelled back. I held on the table next to the bed and pulled myself up. I fixed my pants and laid down on the bed.
"You could come in." I yelled, so they could hear me. They walked in, and Mariana closed the door.
"There's a bruise, but I'm fine I can leave this room, I could continue training." I said to Jeager. She wrote on paper on her clip bored.
"Fine, if you think you can handle it then I'll send you back to your cabin, and you'll bargain training tomorrow." Said Jeager. I smiled and let out a breath of relief.
"But, you have a crutch to get to you cabin." Said Jeager.
"But-"
"But nothing, I don't care, you using a crutch. It's just to get to your cabin." Said Jeager, interrupting me. I sighed and nodded my head.
She assigned me a crutch and exported us out of the building. As Mariana and Jen were walking on both sides, and me, limping away on the crutch. It made me mad that I had to use a crutch just to get to my cabin. It made me feel weak. Jen looked at me and rolled her eyes.
"Oh, lighten up Lilly! At least you starting training again tomorrow." Said Jen.
"I guess." I replied.
"So what did you guys do today?" I asked, trying to make the time go faster.
"Physical strengthening drills." Replied Mariana. I nodded my head.
Finally we got to the cabin. Mariana unlocked the door, and we walked in. Michelle was already asleep and Jen flew into her bed faster then I've ever seen her move. In less then two minutes, Jen was passed out. Mariana was doing something in the bathroom, and I limbed over to my bed. I didn't bother changing, I was tired, and I didn't care that I will be waring the same clothes tomorrow.
It was the next day, and as usual, I got up first and waked up everyone else, got breakfast and stood in in line waiting for Battlow. As we stood in the training yard, we had our hands behind our backs, legs locked straight, good postures, and patience. When other cadets stared lining up, Battlow finally came out and began barking orders. As he was barking, we walked closer and closer to me. Finally he stood at least six inches away from me.
"Cadet Lilly, it seems that you VM test was sabotaged. You will take the test again now. The machine is fixed, so there won't be anymore casualties." Said Battlow. I quickly looked around and saw that people were shocked to hear what Battlow said.
"SIR!" I replied. He turned and made a hand gesture, showing for me to follow, so I did.
We got to the machine and I stood in front if it, gazed. I sighed, and walked to where I was supposed to stand. Cadets gave me a belt and hooked me up to the machine.
"This is your last chance to pursue becoming a soldier." Said Battlow.
"Sir!" I replied.
"Pull her up." Commanded Battlow. The cadets began rolling the lever, making me go into the air. I started to do Mariana's instructions and stayed still in the air. Suddenly I rolled completely upside down.
"NO! I WILL NOT FAIL!!!" I screamed. I grabbed Ono the wires and swung my legs. Making me flip back into place. The people around me looked amazed, but I simply ignored them.
"Let her down." Commanded Battlow. The cadets lowered me down and I unhooked my self from the wires.
"I failed, didn't I?" I said looking to the ground.
"You used a technique that hasn't been used before. You straightened your self, and was successful. 100%." Said Battlow. I instantly looked up an smiled. I passed! Now I will surely become a soldier, and I'll have the titans pay for killing my parents!
