Chapter 36 Apologies

"Hey, you remember." He laughed. I scowled at him, and stepped back a few steps.
"What is it?" I finally said.
"What, I can't just meet you and talk?" He joked.
"Enough of the crap, tell me these abilities my Titan has." I said. Tom giggled and turned his head from where he walked out. I look to where Tom turned his head, and see two more figures coming out from the dark. I scowled even more when I saw the faces of the people walking out... my mother and father.
"Why are they here?" I asked, taking another step back.
"I'm sorry Lilly that we were bad parents, but you've become a pretty young lady." Mother said as she smiled.
"Shut up." I whispered.

"Before your parents tell you what your Titan can do, you have to do a few things before. This will be the agreement I mentioned." Said Tom
as he walked closer to me.
"What."
"Take off your Titan ring, and your jacket."

I did as he said, but I hesitated to take off the ring. He soon pulled out a small hand gun, and pointed it to me. I could feel my blood boil as I pulled off the ring and handed it to him.
"Good, now, there's another condition that has to be met. Give it to her." Tom said. My mother walked over to me holding a syringe, filled with a clear liquid. I back away, but Tom explains if I run, he'll shoot. She pulls up my sleeve, and sticks the needle into my skin and muscle. She gets closer to my ear and whispers "This is just water. We've told Tom that this will make you lose feeling in your body. In 30 seconds fall to the ground." I squint to the pain as she pulls the needle from my arm. She walks back to where she stood, and I grab my arm as it started to bleed.

I noticed that nothing has happened to me, nothing changed from getting that plumbed into my arm. I look over my mother and saw that she was slightly nodding her head. I did as my mother had said, and collapse onto the ground.

Tom smiles, and I let him drag me across the floor. He leans me up against the wall, and backs off.
"Good, now we can tell you what your Titan can do." Sighed Tom. My father walks over to me, and my mother fallows.

"As you probably already found out, your Titan can crystallize on focused body parts. We've taken this trait from the Female Titan's code. Also, we were able to take traits from Eren Jeager's Titan. When your emotions and energy are at their peak, your Titan will seem that it's on fire. This is pretty much true. Your Titan's body temperature sky-rockets when this happens, but this only happens once, and you can't control it. Another thing we've done to engineer your Titan is that we added animal DNA. If your remember, Mariana's Titan was based on a poisonous snake. Yours is based on a cat. Meaning fast reflexes, good agility, good sight and hearing, and able to crystallize your finger tips into 'claws'. This is activated when you focus your energy into your eyes, which will cause them to glow." Father explained.
Good, now I know how to activate certain things.
"Can I just ask that in the year 1100, who was the colossus Titan that breached the wall to Nishi District?" I asked. My father lowered his head and said "That was me at the time."
I got angry, but I put that aside because they are both helping me now.
"Also, I want to test something." Said Tom.
"What." I asked.
"If you consume Mariana over there, then you would inherit her powers." Tom said with a devious smile. My eyes widened to what Tom said.
"You expect me to eat someone, just for your experiment?" I growled.
He just laughed and ignored my question. I wanted to clutch my hand and punch him, but I knew I couldn't, not yet.
"Technically this was confirmed when Grisha Jeager swallowed Freida Riese  many years ago, but I want to watch it myself." Tom explained as he squatted down in front of me.
"If you intend of killing me, you don't have a choice but to consume Mariana." Smiled Tom.
"Well why not you swallow her, to make sure I don't win?" I snapped.
"Trust me I would. But that way, it wouldn't be fun. My Titan is a mixture of the of Eren's and the Armored Titan. You wouldn't have a chance to beat me." Laughed Tom. I couldn't help myself anymore. I could feel my blood boil to hottest it's ever been. I grinder my teeth and growled out "Damn you."

He laughed, and I could tell my father was getting upset. He brought down his head, and I looked back at Tom.
"What was that hun?" He laughed. I snapped. I sprung on my feet and kicked Tom in the face. He fell back, and held his nose.
"Well don't this looks familiar?" I said as I glared at him. I quickly looked at my mother and father and whispered "I'm sorry." They smiled, and my mother tilted her head as if she didn't knew why I was apologizing.

Tom got up, wiped the blood from his nose, and scowled at me.
"Your going to regret that, you little brat!"  He snapped, but I didn't care if he'd beat me to pulp or even killed me.
"I'm sorry mother and father, you might be hurt by what's going to happen next." I whispered. My mother walked up to my father, and they held hands. They were smiling, with tears streaming down their face. I looked at Tom and I could tell he was curious for what I was about to do. I brought my hand up to my mouth, and stared at my thumb.
"What do think your doing?!" He panicked. Before I bit into my hand, I scowled at him. When I did, I could hear the lightning boom down at me, and saw the smoke and orange flash. He widened his eyes as I said "Die, you son of a bitch."
