"How is that possible?!" Asked Julia.
"I don't remember you or any of it, but I grew up with two parents, who adopted me when I was a baby. They said they found a name tag on me, so they kept my name." Said Jen.
"You two look alike, the only difference is that Jen has black hair, and Julia has blonde." I added. Julia smiled and hugged Jen.
"I'm so glad your home! We need to go see mom and dad!" Said Julia pulling Jen.
"Later, right now we need to get the hang of your type of equipment." Said Jen.
"Oh yeah! Our gear is slightly different from yours, but not greatly. All it is, is that our blades have hooks near the top. It's for getting cutting ice blocks, and titan skin. Ice grows on them, so sometimes we need to cut it off, before we kill them." Explained Julia, as we continued to walk.
I looked over to her badge, it was the wings of freedom, the Survey Corps.
"Your in the Survey Corps?" I asked.
"Hm... yeah, I've already been on two expeditions. 4 kills, 31 assists, it's terrifying." Said Julia looking down. I put my head down and watched my feet take their steps.
As we were walking Julia was holding Jen's hand and pulled her close to her side.
"What are you doing?" Asked Jen.
"I want to be with you! I haven't seen you in 16 years! I want you to never leave again!" Said Julia crying.
"Alright, alright. Just stop crying." Laughed Jen. Julia smiled and put her arm around Jen's shoulders. We continued walking and Julia said "So is there anything I or you need to know?" I shook my head, not able to think of anything at the moment.
"Do you know that Lilly is a titan shifter?" Asked Mariana. I lifted my head to see Julia's reaction.
"Then, I will learn more about you, seeing if your a traitor or an ally. I'll trust you when I feel is right. Thank you for sharing that information, I won't tell anyone." Said Julia. She turned her head slightly, her eye went to my face and she scowled at my presents. I put my hand on my heart and closed my eyes.
I opened them and she wasn't looking at me anymore. I put down my hand and continued walking.
A hour has past sense we left the coach.
"How much farther?" Asked Shaun.
"Just around the corner. It's not that farther. I'm sorry that we had to walk so long, the ice and snow will damage your coach, I hope you don't mind." Said Julia.
"It's fine, do you know if we'll start right away, or what?" Asked Jen.
"You'll be starting tomorrow, today we want you and the other cadets to rest. That was a long journey from where you were at first." Said Julia.
"One finale thing." Added Julia stopping and turning to face us.
"You are part of the top 10 right? You'll be joining what brigade you want in a few weeks? If your joining the Survey Corps, soon after you'll be coming here for classes on future missions, and things like that." Finished Julia. We nodded our heads and left. As we're walking away she yells out "MAKE SURE YOU GO INTO THE BUILDING RIGHT THERE!". Julia points to building on our left. I look over at it, and notice that smoke is coming from the top. They must have made a fire, I can understand. It is very cold, compared to the warm climate down south.
We walked into the building, as soon as I stepped in, the heat hit my face. My eyes teared up from it. I wiped my eyes and turned to face Jeager.
"Why are you crying?" Laughed Jeager
"I'm not, the heat just kinda hit my face and my eyes teared up. It's not crying." I explained wiping my eyes again.
"Whatever you say Lilly." Said Shaun. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
I walked to a desk, with the others following.
"Excuse me, but we're part of the reinforcements, and we were told to come here." I said to the man at the desk.
"Ah, yes. You'll be staying in cabins down the rode. Just grab a key over there and the number on it is the number of your cabin." Explained the man. I thanked him and walked to where the keys were hanging.
I grabbed a key and looked at the number. It had a 7 on it. I turned around and saw Jen, Mariana and Carol.
"So, cabin 7?" Asked Carol.
"Yeah."
We left and started to walk down the rode. As we're walking, I noticed that it stopped snowing. I looked down and began to fiddle around with my butterfly charm on the necklace. I look over at Jen and see that her eyes were beginning to tear up.
"What's wrong?" I asked walking towards her.
"I don't believe that I'm Julia's twin. I don't remember anything of being her sister." Said Jen.
"Maybe when you fell into the river, when you were a kid, you could of forgotten everything." I explained.
"I just wish I can ask my parents, but I can't ever talk to them again."
"They might not be able to help you, but we can. And your birth parents can help to!" I said smiling. Jen whipped her eyes and smiled.
"Thank you, I need that." Said Jen looking forward.
Eventually we got to the cabin. I unlocked the door and walked in. As we did the heat hit my face, but it wasn't so warm where it made my eyes tear up. I closed the door and locked it. I took off my top part of my uniform and threw the jacket on a bed.
"This is nice." I said falling next to my jacket on the bed. Jen walked over to me and asked "Do you mind if I take the top bunk?"
"Not at all." I replied. Jen smiled and climbed the latter. Carol blew out the candles and went to bed. I felt around the bed to find my jacket. When I found it, I spun around and used my jacket as a blanket.
"Wake up!" Someone yelled, and started shaking me. I slowly open my eyes and turn my head.
"What" I whispered. The sun shined in my face, as I tried to figure out who was standing in front of me.
"Come on, we have to get ready to go." Said the person again. I lifted my head out of the sun, and waited for my eyes to focus again. It was Jen.
"Your eyes, are dilated. Are you ok?" Asked Jen.
"It's probably from looking in the sun, don't worry about me." I replied smiling. I got out of bed and stood up, quickly my vision went blurry. I felt myself start to lean over, I grabbed onto the rim on the bed near my head. I gripped onto the wood, when Jen said "Are you ok?!"
"I'm fine!" I snapped.
I looked over at Jen and noticed that her eyes were widened.
"Sorry, I don't want you to worry about me, everyone gets a little dizzy when they get out of bed sometimes. It's not a big deal." I apologised.
"Right."
When my vision was clear, I took my bag and looked for the bathroom. I walked in and fixed my ponytail. I walked out went back to my bed. I picked up the jacket and put it on.
"Ready?" Asked Mariana. I nodded my head, and the four of us left.
As we were walking down the path, I saw that it was starting to snow again.
"Jeez, it snows a lot here." Said Carol.
"By the way, do any of you know we're the mess halls are?" I asked looking at the ground.
"HHHEEEEYYYY!" Yelled a girl. I turned around and saw Julia running up towards us.
"Hey!" Replied Jen.
"Where you going Jen?" Asked Julia.
"We're going to get breakfast. Aren't you supposed to be with your troops?"
"Yeah, but I worked things out, so I can be with you before I leave, I'm going on another mission." Replied Julia.
"Oh, well ok. Do you know where the mess halls are?" Asked Jen.
"Yeah! Just follow me!"
We followed Julia until she brought us to the building.
"You might not like what they serve, but I'm sure you'll get used to it." Said Julia opening the doors. As we were walking in I noticed that the inside looked almost exactly like the one we used to be at. I got a tray and grabbed a bowl of the slush that was steaming. Also I took and apple and a glass of milk. I looked over at the table in the corner and saw that someone was already there. The person looked at me and smiled. It was Shaun. I walked over to the table and sat across from him.
"What's up?" Asked Shaun.
"Nothing, I'm just not feeling my best." I replied. Soon the others sat were we'er sitting.
"What is this stuff?" Asked Carol, playing with the food.
"It's oat meal, it's not really fresh because we can't grow fruit and vegetables. Unless it was in a building. So the other cities send food." Explained Julia. I began to bite into my apple. Soon enough, I ate it to the core and threw out the part I can't eat.
I looked back down and watch my vision to get blurry again.
"Hey, Lilly. Your swaying back and forth. Are you ok?" Asked Julia. I watched the bowl in front of me multiply into three.
"Her eyes are starting to glow and greenish blue." Said Carol.
Suddenly I couldn't hold on anymore, so I simply letted go. I fell onto the floor. I saw someone's foot come into range.
"Someone get help!" Yelled a person near by. My hearing was getting to a point where it sounded like echoes.
"What's happening." I whispered.
"Why can't I move?!" I said again, until my eyes closed and I couldn't see or hear anything.
