Mariana, Jen and I left the dark room, and were beginning to walk out when, Dr. Jaeger stopped us and said, "Wait! Mariana and Jennifer, come here for a minute. I need to ask you something!"

"It's Jen." Whispered Jen. She never liked to be called by her full name. She said it reminds her of when her parents where merdered, and before Jen found her parents dead, she heard her mom made a blood curdling scream, saying her full name. Then she had to live on the streets and buy food and shelter by working at the market. Jen was on the streets for at least two years, or three! Until Mariana convinced her parents to let Jen live at her home.

My friends left to go talk to Jaeger, so I went to a chair in the corner of the room, and sat down. I waited for what felt like three hours, but it turns out it was just 20 minutes. Mariana and Jen walked back and we left. As we were walking out, I said "If you don't mind me asking, what did you guys talk about with Jaeger?" Mariana and Jen look at each other and Mariana began.

"She asked why you have scratches and scars on you hands. We folder her that when you get very mad or upset, you put you hands in your pockets and scratch them, causing them to bleed or open your skin. We also said that one time you got so mad, that you scratched your hands very badly, that you had to get stitches." I nodded my head to reply. I wasn't paying attention when we were walking. Why would Yaeger want to know about my cuts?

Eventually, we got out of the hospital and began to head down to the market. I haven't been working for a week, I don't know if our boss will understand that I had a 'problem'. As we were walking, I asked my friends "So while I was out, were you guys still working at the market?"

"Yeah! And we explained that you had a 'health problem' and was at the hospital. We also checked your house after your parents left. Don't worry Lilly! Mark understands." Said Mariana in a calming way. Mark was the name of our boss. I was relieved that mark understood, somewhat of why I wasn't at the market working.

We got to the market, and saw Mark handing a bag to a women. When he saw us he yelled "Hey! Your back!" I smiled and nodded my head. When we got to him he asked if I was alright and if I was able to work. I said yes, and we
began to work. I found my apron that I ware and put it on. The memories of me making the stains on the apron began to run through my head.

As I walked outside to begin working, a boy ran across in front of the counter and took an apple. An apple wasn't worth much, but it's was still worth money, and we only have a few left at the market. "Hey! Come back here!" I screamed. I jumped over the counter and started to chase the boy. He made quick turns around the other citizens and I followed.

I finally got to the boy and tackled him to the ground. I snatched the apple put of his hand and put it in my hoodie pocket. I held his arm behind his back, making not able to move, and if he did it would brake his arm. As I held the boy down, at least five other boys came out of a crowd and were laughing. I didn't move my eyes from the boy, but I listened to the other kids.

"Way da go! Tom, you were chances and tackled down from a GIRL!" The boy, who I guested was 'Tom' sighed and stopped resisting. I let go and got up, Tom followed. I smiled when I saw his face, it was cute that Tom had a wrinkle in his forehead from anger.

"That will be a dollar." I said with some sass. Tom sighed again and the boys began laughing again.

"You're pathetic!" Yelled one of the boys, and they left. Tom eventually lifted his head from embarrassment. When he did, he looked at my face and his eyes widened.

"Aren't you the girl who gets REALLY sick from the vaxcine?" Asked Tom. My face turned red and I replied very quickly. "Uh... um... No! What are you taking about? Everyone gets sick from the shot!" I yelled. Tom put a smirk on his face and said "Yeah, but your the girl who was taken to the hospital. Your eyes began to glow. I saw it, I was in line!"

I heard two people running behind me, it was probably Mariana and Jen. I was embarrassed, and full of rage. I put my hand in my pocket of my hoodie and started scratching my hands. As Tom kept on saying what he saw happen to me and how I had to be carried to the hospital in a stage coach, my blood begs in to boil more and more.

I turned around to see Jen and Mariana running up to me. When they got to me they yanked my arms away from my sides and out of my pocket. When my arms were in the air, they were covered in dripping blood.
