Chapter 37

"GIN!"

I screamed, no choice but to kick the door down. Her fragile body layed on the ground, it looks like she's been suffering for hours.

"Huwag kang mag-alala, dadating na yung ambulansya." Tina whispered to her phone, her tone was telling me that she's hiding something, but it's not important in the moment.

I held her body, checking for pulse, luckily, there was one. Best guess was that she fainted due to extreme fatigue.

"Hey...stay with me okay? The ambulance is coming.." I whispered, assuring her, but more like I was assuring myself.

"AHHHHH WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!?!" Asked Tina, I glared at her, signalling to keep quiet. Thankfully Geisler was there to calm her wife down.

"Huwag kang maingay Tin, nakakahiya. Nasa ospital ka pa naman." He stated, annoyed by the crowd as he hid behind the corner.

Napailing lang ako, at paulit-ulit na sumisilip sa kwarto.

"Hey, I'm sure that she's okay.. Matapang yun eh, hindi basta basta nagpapatalo..." Paniguradong ani ni Tina. Tumango lang ako at niyakap siya. "I know...I know she will.."

Tahimik kaming umupo sa upuan, wala kaming marinig kung hindi ang mga mahihinang bulong ng mga doktor na labas pasok sa iba't-ibang kwarto.

I can feel the tension between the three of us, our breaths were short and shaky. Patiently waiting for the doctor.

The sudden footsteps made me stood up, I immediately wiped my face as I feel my eyes water from the tension.

The doctor turned around to face us, her emotions were kind of weird as she sent me a beaming smile. "Are you the father?" She asked Geisler, making him choke on his own saliva while Tina chuckled quietly.

I rolled my eyes and tapped her shoulder. "Excuse me Doctora but does he look like the fa— ANO?!" I screamed, in which they covered their ears from my booming voice. People were turning their heads, but quickly ignored the commotion that I had caused.

"Father?! Doctora Baka naman may pagkakamali kayo diyan?" I whisper-yelled, making Geisler cough while Tina sighed in frustration.

"Gaga eh tinira mo nga yung nasa London kayo diba? Tsk manhid lang si itech?" Sagot ni Tina, ngunit ngumiwi lang ako.

"Ahh..sorry ikaw pala yung father, but yes, she is, in fact pregnant. Well three and a half weeks pregnant, nahimatay lang rin siya due to stress and extreme fatigue so I suggest that she might have to rest." Paliwanag ng doctora habang nakatingin sa akin. "Take care of her.." She whispered and excused herself from us.

"Oh ano?" Nilingon ko lang ang dalawa na kanina pa ngumingisi sa likuran ko.

"Wala..." Sus painosente 'tong dalawang 'to.

Dahan-dahan kaming pumasok sa loob ng kwarto, kung saan nakaupo si Gin sa kama, napatitig lang rin siya sa akin at saka ay umiwas rin.

"SUUUUUSSS may pa blush blush effect pa 'tong si Gin. Oh my GOSH!!! I can feel the love toni—mphhh!!"

"Ang ingay mo babae. Pwede ba? Huwag mo na kasi laklakin yung mga energy drink sa refrigerator natin." Ani ni Geisler habang nakatakip sa bibig ni Tina.

"It's...good to see you...awake and alive..." I whispered, giving her a peck on the nose. My hands unconsciously travelled to her stomach, a smile was obviously plastered on my face.

"I-I'm a father...Haaaaahh...nakakakaba but at the same time, it's exciting.." I sighed happily.

"I guess I have nothing to worry about then.." She replied, placing her hand on top of mine. "Akala ko kase...ayaw mo ng ganito..."

"How could I not? I've always wanted a family...and I love you..so wala ka nang aalahanin pa...I'm here..always."

"BLEH!" Sabat ni Geisler at napatawa. Niyakap lang rin ako ni Tina at umiling. "Ang bitter mo!"

"Okay ka lang ba? Do you need something? Anything?" I asked but she politely declined patting a space beside her. "Maupo ka..mukhang napagod ka ata..kailan yung huling tulog mo?" She asked. I layed beside her and caressed her hair.

"Wag mo na akong problemahin the important thing is you're safe and the baby is safe...that is the most important thing to me." I assured her but she just glared at me.

"Sige sige, matutulog na ako, basta ikaw matulog ka na rin ha?"

"Oo nga matutulog rin ako, and besides..we need to be healthy for our baby. Hindi pwedeng pareho tayong pagod" She explained, wrapping her arms around me.

"Okay basta sabi mo yan ha ma—"

"Ang landi oh! Kung ayaw niyong matulog edi ako nalang jan tsk ang ingay." Geisler complained, muttering a few words before going back to sleep.

"Hehe, sorry...siya kasi mag tatake-over sa kumpanya bukas since I have to go to Baguio tomorrow, but don't worry..Tina's gonna be accompanying you tomorrow. I'll be back in the evening." I whispered kissing her before closing my eyes.

"Goodnight..love you."
