"Please Tina, don't tell him!" I continuously said, my hands were gripping on the hem of her skirt. While she, just kept silent sipping on her favorite capuccino coffee.
"I'm sorry Gin but even if I keep this a secret, you still need to tell him." She anxiously said. I really can't blame her, at sino rin naman rin ako para itago kay Darius 'tong sekreto ko.
"Okay fine, I'll tell him, but I'm not even sure if I'm pregnant or not, baka nga false alarm lang 'to." I sighed, sitting on the couch beside her.
"Kahit na. Alam mo naman ugali niya, hindi ka nun tatantanan hangga't hindi ka umaamin, It's like he can smell secrets 200 kilometers away." She shrugged. I nodded in approval. Mukhang mapapaamin na ako nito as soon as I take the test.
"Uhhhh do I need to watch out for his attitude when I confess?" Pagtatanong ko, nilingon lang rin ako ni Tina at napangiti.
"He's very caring, yung parang siya yung Mom sa relationship, ay ewan ko nga eh, feeling ko nga mas mama ko siya noon kaysa sa mommy ko." She chuckled, slinging an arm around me.
"You'll be fine Gin, you're in good hands." She added, her smile was soft, and caring.
"I know.." I softly replied, my fingertips were rubbing the corner of the table, something I do when I'm nervous.
"What if dito ka muna magstay? Tutal mas magiging awkward kung uuwi ka pa sa condo ni Darius..so how about a girls night out?" She excitedly asked. Napailing lang ako sa kanyang alok.
"Ah wag na, ikaw na rin nagsabi na dapat akong umamin sa kanya, and I think it's for the best naman." I politely declined, making her nod in understanding.
I stood up, ready to go, but she pulled me back.
"But promise me that you'll stay by his side no matter what Gin.."
"Of course---"
"Kahit ano man ang manyari. Kahit ano man ang malaman mo. Ipangako mo na hindi mo siya iiwan." Malamig na aniya. Napalunok lang rin ako sa kanyang mga sinabi. Anong malalaman ko? May tinatago ba si Darius?
Wala na rin akong magawa kung hindi tumango. Bumalik lang rin sa pagkalma ang kanyang pananalita.
"Okay! Goodluck Gin!" Pangiting aniya, bago niya ako itinulak palabas.
Napailing lang rin ako sa pagkalito. Anong ibig niyang sabihin?

"Okay...ito na..." Paulit ulit kong sinabi habang paikot ikot rin na naglalakad sa labas ng comfort room.
Ilang minuto na ang nakalipas at hindi ko parin magawang tignan ang resulta, baka nga kinakabahan lang ako.
"Kalma lang Gin. Hindi ka mapapagalitan ni Nanay. Eh mas gusto nga niya na magkaasawa at anak ka eh..ano pa ba ang hinihintay mo?"
Kung nasaan man si Nanay, alam na alam ko na masaya siya para sa akin, na kahit bakla man mapapangasawa ko, approve na approve siya sa akin.
Namimiss ko na rin talaga sina Lola at Lolo, simula kasi nung na stranded kami ni Nanay dito, hindi ko na sila nakita, kung kaya't dito na rin ako lumaki.
"Gin? is that you?" Pagkatok ni Darius sa labas ng comfort room. Dali Dali ko ring itinapon ang test sa basurahan.
"Shit.shit.shit.shit.shit." I muttered, my hands were shaking from nervousness. Goodness.
"Are you okay? You sound like you're distressed." A soft voice asked. I slowly opened the door, revealing Darius, his suit was slightly messed, like he was running before he got here.
"Ah...Oo, teka, bakit parang pawis na pawis ka? Di ka naman nag eexercise ah" Pabiro Kong ani. Tumawa lang rin siya at napailing sa aking pabirong tanong.
"Ahhh... hahahahaha Eh ano...sabi kasi ni Tina na may emergency daw, so ayun, nagmadali ako galing sa meeting. Tutal, kailangan ko naman mag exercise kahit minsan." Ngiting aniya, habang kamot kamot ang kanyang batok.
"Ahh..ganon ba? O sige, ipangluto muna kita, anong gusto mong kainin?" Pagtatanong ko, napailing lang rin siya at napahawak sa aking balikat.
"Don't worry, nagdala naman ako ng baon ko kanina, so I ate before I even got here." Pangising wika niya bago niya akong biglang binuhat.
His playful smirk was enough to make me realize what might happen right at this moment, so I smiled softly and politely declined.
"Pwede...pwede wag muna, eh ano..may sakit kasi ako.." Pagsinungaling ko, even though it was partially true.
"A-Ah..Hahahahaa Of course, sorry I'm just stressed today..but if you want..you can rest at my room..and we can..you know..cuddle?" He bashfully asked, avoiding my confused gaze.
He's too stressed to even process information..paano nalang kaya kung dumagdag pa yung pagamin ko? Mas mabigat na yung dadalhin niya na problema? I don't want to be a burden, all these years he's done nothing but good to me.
I turned my back against him, suddenly feeling an unsual sensation on my throat, a sign that I have to throw up.
I immediately ran inside the bathroom, making sure to lock the door before I vomit.
I ignored the panicked knocks on the door and continue to throw up.
Napatingin ako sa basurahan at dali-daling kinuha ang pregnancy test, na tinapon ko kanina.
"Shit."

"Gin? Gin!! Buksan ko yung pinto, anong nangyayari?! Why did you lock the door?!" I heard his voice on the other side of the door, but was to weak to even stand. Instead, I sat down to calm myself, before closing my eyes in exhaustion.

"Gin?! Kung hindi ka naman sasagot sisipain ko 'tong pintuan!!!"
