-Y/Ns pov-

When I arrive I give my friend a hug.
"So who are we meeting tonight?"

She giggles.
"I can't tell you yet, just wait."

I sigh and look at her outfit.
"You really want to impress that guy, huh?"

My friend can't stop smiling as she spots our dates. She waves at them.
"Hey Bucky!"

The expression on my face freezes as I turn around.
"Did you set me up with my brother?"
A little bit of hope swings with my voice.

She laughs and nudges her elbow into my side.
"What? No! You're Bucky's date."

I slowly turn my head, my face clearly shows how unpleasent this 'surprise' is.
"Please tell me that you're joking."

Again she laughs without answering me.

"This evening will be a pain in the a$$."
I sigh, knowing that I can't leave now.

-James pov-

Steve and I walk towars two girls, one of them waves and calls my name.
"Oh, there they are!" I wave back at them as we get closer.

Whoever she brought with her is a beauty. But she seems familiar.

"Is that Y/N? Did you set me up with my sister?"
Steve looks concerned.

I give him my charming smile.
"Actually *?* asked me to set you up with her and she would bring a friend for me. I didn't know Y/N would be here."

I didn't know she would look that good.

We greet each other, *?* instantly tries to make conversation with Steve.

I feel like he needed someone who would take the first step. Good thing she asked me if I would help her.

My gaze falls on Y/N and as soon as she notices she rolls her eyes. I do like her back but as this is a date I would prefer her to at least talk with me.

Now how will I enjoy the evening if she keeps that attitude? Everytime I try to talk to her she just turns around. Steve told me she wasn't mad anymore but clearly she's not over it. How could she? I would be mad if someone would call my sister a slvt, I can't even imagine how she must have felt.

I look over to a dance floor and smile.

Maybe I can make it up to her? Just ask her already, James.

I step closer to her from behind and whisper in her ear.
"How about we leave the two of them alone and go dancing?"
As my breath strikes her ear I can see a glimp of forgiveness in her eyes.

She's about to shake her head when a laughing Steve enters her view. I'd give everything to be able to read her mind right now. She looks at her friend who clearly has more fun than we have and turns around.
"Fine. But don't expect me to be good at it. I can't dance."

I give her my most charming smile, take her hand and lead her towards the dance floor. The lights give me a better view on the look she wears tonight.
"Don't worry, I'll show you."
My voice sounds as charming as ever but I actually am really nervous.

Slowly I draw her closer as she places her hand on my shoulder. She keeps staring at my shirt as if she was uncomfortable if she had to look into my eyes. Careful I place my hand on her waist and start leading her through the music. Every strand of her hair seems to fall exactly as she wants it too. Even the breeze can't mess her looks up.

As we swing to the music she slowly warms up and starts looking at me.
"I didn't know you can dance."
Her voice sounds as calm as the weather before an upcoming storm.

Her words make me chuckle. Time to correctly apologize.
"I really am sorry about what I said earlier today. I had no right to do so or to say anything like that."

Y/N looks surprised and a little bit moved. She closes her eyes and suddenly her voice has a softer tone.
"I didn't know you can dance."
