CHAPTER 14
Kiss me"Do you wanna eat something?" Sancho asked.
Ayla blinked twice, still processing what he just said. "I'm... not hungry."
Tumango ito bago ngumiti. "You can rest now if you want."
"Sancho."
"Yes?"
She felt the need of wanting a drink.
"Do you have something to drink?"
"Yes, I have juice, milk and soda in the refrigerator—"
"No, other than that."
Sancho's smile widened. "Yes."
She gagged and Sancho stood up panicking.
"Hey, are you okay?"
She drained the water in her glass before answering a nod.
"I can still remember," she said and frowned then ate her chips.
He chuckled. "Liquor can't give you amnesia or something."
I remember his face when he got mad at us when we went to Mag-aso. He's like a grandpa," Sancho joked and laughed but he stopped after hearing her sniff.
He turned to see her crying. "Hey, are you crying?"
Ayla wiped her tears before glaring at him. "I'm producing a goddamn water source," she said sarcastically. It didn't make him laugh nor chuckle.
"Alam mo, kapag mabigat na, much better if you... you know, let it out," he said hesitantly.
"Only if I could get rid of these," aniya at itinuro ang dibdib.
"Ayla, I'm not kidding."
Nilingon niya ito habang napapasinghot pa rin.
"As what I've told you, I will not judge you."
He looked so serious. His eyes were gentle and his voice had a tone of sincerity. What was still hold her back from opening up everything to this man? One thing was for sure. She was afraid. Even Brittany her friend for years didn't know. And she would tell something so private about her life to this guy she just met? Sounds very ridiculous.
"I know why you're still hesitant."
"You don't trust me."
