I decided to spend time with someone, but I had no idea who that person who be. So I figured I would just walk around until I stumbled upon someone who would be willing to hang out.

I locked the door to my dorm room behind me and walked downstairs into the dormitory lounge. Then, similar to last night, my eyes landed on a boy lying on the couch. He seemed to be deep in thought, staring at the ceiling with his hands behind his head.

"Ryuto?" I called out to him, walked towards the couches.

"Gah!" he shot up, clearly startled.

Looks like Ryuto wasn't expecting anyone.

He quickly turned around and was instantly reassured once he saw my face. "Oh, it's just you Kuro...You have to stop creeping up on me like that."

"Sorry, I couldn't help it," I replied, taking a seat on the couch opposite him. "What were you thinking about?"

"Nothing really...Just what I'm gonna do after I get outta here."

"That doesn't sound like nothing. And we are going to get out of this place soon. There's barely any of us left."

"Exactly. There's no way only 2 of us get to escape." Ryuto nodded. "But...my plans are pretty boring or weird."

With a talent like his, I doubt that. Plus, now I'm kind of intrigued to see what exactly he's planning.

Should I listen to his plans?

"I'm sure your plans are that silly. I mean, with a talent like yours, you could do a bunch of stuff." I told him.

"Oh...uh...thanks."

"So what do you want to do when you get out of here anyway?" I asked.

"I was thinking about the orphanage and stuff. And the tons of family issues."

"Well, if you're worried about getting a family, I'm sure you'll find a one once we get out of here," I reassured him.

"I guess I could...but I doubt it." He shrugged.

"Huh? Why's that?"

"In this killing game, I've realized I'm way too old. The parents that come in always want a kid that they'll get to watch grow up, so they go for the younger ones. I'm past that. There's not really a point in hoping." He explained, not seeming to care that much.

"That's unfortunate...what are you going to do?" I wondered.

"As soon as I get out of here, I'm gonna graduate and find my own place. I'm sure the orphanage will be glad to see me go after being there for ages. Then I'll become a streamer and get cash out of that!" Ryuto sat up, excited after revealing that last part about his plan.

"A...streamer?" I repeated. "Not a hacker?"

"Uh...You see, I'm already technically a hacker. And hackings fine and all and sure I can make cash off it, but it's more like a hobby honestly. I just sit around and stare at a computer all day. Streaming is right up my alley. I get money, play video games and I don't even get to leave my room. It's perfect." He said.

"But...you're still going to sit around and stare at a computer all day." I reminded him.

"T-There's more to it than that!" He exclaimed. "Once I get a bunch of fans, there's way more I can do!"
