Chapter 3 - Beating Regret, Heartless Sorrow - An Unexpected Argument

I entered my room after the breakfast meeting. Nothing really happened except for quiet chatter amongst people. Taking a seat on my bed, I pondered what to do now.

I'd usually spend time with someone...

Wait! Didn't I tell myself I would figure out the panty thief? Well, since I have time, I guess I should. Maybe the knowledge that helps me out in the trials can assist me here...

Now, they're most likely the same person who peeked on the girls changing as Reina said. Let's see...

The first person to leave the male changing room was...him! I saw him exit it with my own eyes, but is that definitive proof?

Ok...how about the underwear thief...The underwear had to have been taken when it was in the laundry room, so the person in charge of that should be the most suspicious...

And that person is...also him! He told me, Ryuto and Mizuki himself.

There's no way it's him right? What if they're just coincidences?

Oh right! The message feature on our handbooks. We've only used it for small chats, but revealing the identity if a pervert should be an important announcement, so it would be better for everyone to know.

I grabbed my handbook and selected the messenger app, then started typing:

Kuro: Everyone. I've figured out who the underwear thief is.

Ichika: Really! That's great!

Reina: Well tell us then, Dumborin.

Kuro: It would be better if I told you in person. Where should we all meet?

Tama: Hwo about we meet at my lab? It's is the buggest

Kuro: Great! I'll see you all there.

I closed my handbook and rushed through to door to see Ryuto.

"So you know who the thief is, huh?" he asked.

"Yup! I just gotta tell everyone!"

"Luckily, I brought these, " He pulled out the pair of underwear he received. "I thought they might help somehow."

I nodded as we both left. On the way, I explained to ryuto who the culprit was. He was surprised as well, yet agreed to help me reveal their identity.

We arrived at the Ultimate Basketball Pro's lab to see almost everyone there except for Gin, Haru, and unsurprisingly Kei.

"Where's Gin and Haru?" I questioned.

"Gins busy looking that rock thing that we found at the pool party while Haru's busy in their lab getting some stuff to braid in Ichika's hair later..." Tama told us.

"Kei probably just didn't come. Knowing him, he probably doesn't care who the thief is." Ryuto shrugged.

"Yup, that does sound like Kei..."

"Most of us are here...So who is the thief?" Mei said.

"Oh...well...It's just a theory, but-" I began.

"Just tell us!" Reina exclaimed.
