Carefully, I glided the bow against the strings of my violin. Yet again, another breakfast meeting had ended and no new information had come to light, so I decided to spend a few hours in my ultimate lab, as I hadn't entered it in a while and needed to continue practicing. True, this is a dangerous situation, but I should at least somewhat follow my practice schedule.

However, it had been cut short by the sudden sound of static emitting from the monitor. The screen flashed on and there sat Monokuma doing his usual thing.

"Ahem." he loudly cleared his throat. "Hello, my beautiful students! How are you all doing on this fine and murderous day?"

A long pause was heard like he was waiting for a real response.

"Wow...nothing at all? Tough crowd." he sounded dejected, before speaking once more in his high pitched voice. "Anyway, your headmaster wants you all to gather in the gym immediately for an announcement! So you all better be there. And if your not...a nice extermination will be waiting for you. Okie dokie, see all of you bright kids there!"

Judging from Monokuma's attitude and how peaceful everything has been, I'm guessing he's going to announce a new motive whether we like it or not.

Just what could he be planning...

After sighing, I delicately put was my violin.

I really want to practice more, but if I don't want to get exterminated, whatever that even meant, I should get going. I wouldn't want to be late.

Exiting my lab, I made my way to the gym.

"Finally you're here!" Monokuma exclaimed as I walked into the room. "I was looking forward to exterminating someone, but oh well!"

It seemed like I was the last one to arrive. Even Kei was here on time which was strange and surprising.

"Don't get me so worried like that, Ku! I was scared I was gonna have to fight off some evil mecha robots from trying to kill you!" Mizuki was the first to speak after Monokuma. I naturally went to stand next to her and Ryuto since the two of them were the ones I trusted the most in this sick game.

"Hey...robots would be pretty cool though. A nice twist." the latter of the two said, his hands resting in his pockets.

"I'm sorry, guys. I guess I was focused on my violin so much that I ended up being late." I briefly apologized.

"Who gives a shit what you were doing? I just want to get out of here and go back to what I was doing." Shiro said.

"You guys do get more impatient every day...Maybe you should all-" Monokuma tried to suggest something.

"We didn't ask what you think we should all do. You obviously called us here for a reason, so what is it?" Reina asked.

"Well, you all probably know what's coming!"

"Yeah, I can make a pretty good guess..." Arashi mumbled.

"It's motive time, isn't it?" Kei said, taking the words right out of the bear's mouth before he could even say it.

"It's motive time!" he announced. "Hey! At least let me finish, emo loser!" he directly that last part to Kei. "But yes, it's motive time!" Monokuma repeated.

"Can you hurry up and get to the point? Mei and I were kinda busy." Arashi said.

"I don't care! Just let me announce it!"

"Ok, ok...got it."

"Anyways...The motive this time around is..." he waited for what seemed like a drumroll, but nothing happened. "We spent all our funding on that spin wheel for that stupid joke last motive that we can't even afford a drumroll! Can you believe that? I certainly can't."
