After the breakfast meeting, I found myself in front of Arisu's lab.

Kei told me to go look at the photos she had hung up on her wall in here. That sounds easy enough, but since the door is locked, I can't get in. It's not like I can borrow Arisu's handbook to open it. In fact...I couldn't ask anyone for help since everyone with a handbook that could've opened it is dead.

So considering all that...how exactly am I going to get in?

Suddenly, I hear the handbook lock on Arisu's door beep and flash a bright green. Then, I felt and handbook vibrate. I grabbed onto it and saw that I had gotten a message from Kei. I tapped on it and read:

-

Kei: Arisu's lab is locked right?

Kei: Don't worry. I unlocked it for you.

Kei: Should be good to investigate.

Kuro: How did you do that?

Kei: It was easy. I just used the control panel in the masterminds room.

Kuro: I thought you were staying in the morgue?

Kei: The morgue gets so boring after a while. I haven't seen the mastermind yet so I thought it was a good idea to go back to their room.

Kei: Plus I get to spy on everyone using these monitors.

Kuro: You were the one so insistent on staying hidden last night.

Kuro: Now you're just moving around carelessly.

Kei: Who said I was being careless?

Kei: I remembered to disable the classroom's camera last night.

Kei: So you might want to take that whole careless point back.

Kuro: Fine. But be careful up there.

Kei: I know. I know.

Kei: Now hurry up and investigate Arisu's lab before someone sees you.

Kei: You're not the only one in the basement you know.

Kuro: Ok. I'll text you when I'm done.

I rolled my eyes at his attitude and turned my handbook off. I pulled the door handle and unlike my other attempts, it opened without effort. Once making sure no one was looking, I went inside.

The room was the exact same as the last time I had entered. I figured that made sense since no one else has come in. I almost forgot how intricate her disguised were though...I got a bit frightened when I thought I had seen someone, but it was just a mannequin wearing my clothes.

That's...still pretty creepy.

I made my way over to where multiple photos were stuck on the wall and began examining them again.

In terms of the number of photos, it matched up with our original number of students: 16. However, there were slight differences in these photos that I hadn't noticed before such as Reina wearing glasses.

However, the 2 who had changed the most were definitely Kei and Okashi. Somehow I didn't notice Kei looking completely different in his photo. He had black hair, his birthmark, and most importantly...

No eye wound...

In fact, his eye was completely fine. It was golden yellow like his other eye and had no problems.

I thought Kei's father caused that wound...And if we all arrived here on our first day, that would mean he had to have received that wound beforehand...
