I stared at the stage as all that I saw was vivid blood splattered all around it, along with familiar magenta hair and the velvet suit that the victim was wearing.

I was looking at Akito's dead body.

His body had been sprawled on the stage, his left arm hanging over the edge of it. His mouth was covered in blood along with his corpse. His eyes were now just pale and glassy, devoid of all life and bloodshot. The was nothing left in his eyes except for pure panic and pain.

The most obvious thing about the body was the large, broken chandelier that had crushed Akito's body, the shards piercing his skin all over.

It was a crimson, bloody mess.

Ding Dong! Ding Dong!

That just confirmed it.

Akito really was dead.

The guy who wanted to hold this play for us in the first place...

Was dead right in front of me...

I promised that I was going to end this killing game...

I promised that we would all escape together...

We were all going to live Okashi's dying wish and survive...

But...

I guess that's all done down the drain now.

I thought Nanako's murder and trial would be the only one. This wasn't supposed to continue, but looking at Akito's body...

Akito...

I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise.

As I stared wide-eyed at the body, a barrage of footsteps came rushing from backstage.

"We heard the announcement- A-Akito!?!" Tama ran in with a gasp as he stared at the corpse.

"W-What happened...Ahhh!" Mei yelped as she stared at the blood. I remembered her fear of blood, and the fact that there was so much more blood than Nanako's corpse wasn't helping.

"M-Mei! Don't look!" Arashi yelled as she covered Mei's eyes from the horrific sight, holding her close like a protective sister.

"He's...dead? No...This wasn't supposed to happen..." Hinami said silently looking at Akito's lifeless body. The whole reason for their play was to stop the motive and cheer everyone up.

So why...?

Why did this have to happen...?

Did the motive...convince someone to kill?
