"Hey...Hey!"

I felt someone poke my shoulder, waking me up from whatever I was looking at.

Even with my eyes open, all I'm seeing is darkness.

"Ah...Ku! Wake up already!" The person shook me. "I don't want to be stuck with those two losers..."

"H-Huh?" Was all I managed to say. I lifted my hand up to my face and felt a large item covering my eyes.

"Oh! I know!"

The darkness was lifted as my eyes landed on the Mizuki in front of me, holding a headset in her hands.

"Now you can finally see me, silly!"

She must've taken the headset off for me. That explains the darkness. I guess the game really did shut down.

This must be the real world then...

I took another look at Mizuki who was the person poking me earlier. Her psychical appearance was the exact same. Instead of her straitjacket that I had come so used to her wearing, she wore the Nozomu Academy uniform. Her shirt was untucked and her sleeves were pulled back. She didn't wear her blazer and her tie had been messing done, almost completely loose. Her hair wasn't tied anymore either, making it appear to be way longer and messier.

"Taku a nice long look, hm?" She winked. "Come on! Let's help you up!"

She grabbed my arm and pulled me up, bring me to my feet. While she placed my headset on my desk at the front of the classroom, I took some time to examine my own uniform and get adjusted to my surroundings. I wore my blazer and shirt properly and my tie was knotted correctly. But bright drops and splats of crimson blood stood out on my white blazer.

That must be from when I stabbed Kei...

I lifted my head and looked around the room. We were in a classroom that was dimly lit due to the windows being covered with shutters because of the supposed lockdown the school was in. Most of the seats were filled with our classmates, all still and lifeless after just being electrocuted, some of them still occasionally twitching. Reina, Shiro, and Mizuki, who had all woken up before me, had already gone through the trouble of taking off everyone's headsets except for a boy's at the back.

Toshiro was busy kneeling by a chair that had Haru's fresh corpse on it. His uniform was similar to Mizuki's: no blazer, an untucked shirt, and rolled up sleeves. At least he could wear his tie correctly though.

Reina leaned against the electronic blackboard at the front of the classroom and was joined by Mizuki who skipped towards her to update the situation now that I was awake. Reina's uniform was unique as she made the decision to wear a white waistcoat instead of a blazer. Her clothes were crisp, clean, and were nicely taken care of.

Makes sense seeing she's the most fashionable of the group...

After taking a glance at all of my dead classmates sitting there, I felt uneasy. I cautiously walked down the aisles of chairs, taking a look at everyone who sat there still. My eyes landed on a boy with blue eyes, tan skin, and blond messy hair. Unlike his in-game appearance, he was much taller and didn't wear a mask.

The real Okashi...

I wonder if he was the same in real life as he was in the game. I probably knew the answer, but with my replaced memories, I unfortunately might never know now.

All the way at the back, sat in the corner, was a boy. He was still unconscious with his headset on and wasn't moving at all.

...Who is he?
